I just ordered the dual motor version. Can't wait!
enjoy!
Wither one needs more battery capacity depends on ones situation. Running throttle only, 60Ah would be the minimum for me.
I live in the country and I'm 52 miles from the nearest large town center.
sounds like this is the bike for you!
Best review of this bike so far on yt, hands down. Thank you! Just bought one, you sold me
Thank you!
@@maximumchargeEVjust got it all put together today, can't get the handlebars to tighten for the life of me. I ended up stripping both clamp bolts, and then trying bolts and nuts but snapping them. 😢 going to try grade 8 bolts next before sending it back. It just won't clamp down tight enough
@DevinRostron I actually stripped the top bolt of the handle bars too lol. Ended up bolting through with a nut.
Yeah I want this for food delivery and maybe go fishing or something. SOLD. Good review. And I’m in NYC. Absolutely sold. Thanks dude
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Are you going to do a review of the A8 Pro Max 52V Dual Motor Ebike any time soon?
If you're looking, wallke is having a huge sale on the dual motor h9. 1700 shipped 60ah
If they send me one, I would love to!
Nice to see reviewers who are not talking out of their ass just to get free stuff.
Since you've reviewed both, do you prefer this a8 pro single motor or the dk300 max with dual motors?
Any word on an aq177 dual motor review? It appears to be a step down from the a8 pro dm but still intriguing.
thanks! That's a good questions. I think If you prefer style and what your bike looks like the dk300 max looks cool, it also has better torque for hill climbing due to the dual motors, but if you want to go the distance and never have range anxiety the a8 is the way to go .
Thanks for the reply. I do live in a part of LA with Hills in the name and they can get crazy steep in the residential areas though I can get home without much climbing and the developed low lands are generally relatively flat aside from a few big hills.
I do love to climb over the Santa Monica mtn range fire roads/trails to get to the beach, the fresh prince of bel air house in Brentwood, go up random trails, etc but I probably would not take these heavy bikes too far into the mountains for fear up getting stuck between hills or losing power and having to push it up whereas my 50lb ebike with 3x up front can climb pretty well without power, be walked or thrown into a car easier if need be.
The dk300 rear suspension looks tempting to take up the more mild and close trails though.
That 60ah could be crazy if it can get over the mountain trails into LA proper and back but it's a lot of roller coaster climbing and descending in dirt and some really long pavement climbs if coming back from the beach or sea level, which is something like 35 miles round trip.
I doubt this area is good for door dash on an ebike but if I wanted to try the houses can potentially be pretty far up in the hills. I'm only 145 and robot strong so I don't mind pedaling to help. The a8 seems like I'll be able to get up most streets but slowly and it's nice to be able to raise the seat even if pedaling isn't a huge boost to such a heavy bike.
One big concern for the a8 is the lock up point. I don't see any framed in triangles or anywhere to safely lock it up if all someone has to do is use an Allen wrench to remove a spring etc.
I'd probably lean towards the dk300 for looks, suspension, easy locking points all over steal frame, and more space for a bigger battery but I'm really wanting to see some aq177 dual motor reviews now that it's recently entered the market. That should be good for views if you can get your hands on it as I've not seen a single review yet and it's only $100 more than the a8 single motor at $1900 ATM.
Might just say f it and buy a mantis x lol. The value is hard to beat there.
where did you do your testing?
in Connecticut
Thank you... great review... I want to pull the trigger but .... do you have any experience with the Aniioki AQ177 pro max. Same battery size but a step through with a normal style seat post. The seat is my ?possible? issue. I've had a Rad Mini since 2012 and have loved its size etc but they no longer have parts or replacement batteries. Therefore time to shift gears. We ride a-lot. Actually, haven't had a car for the last month. Another oldie but goodie but replacing parts has become an issue. A 4x4 2008 Sportsmobile Chevy Duramax. We carry the bikes all around the country on a back rack for travel in and around cities. Anyway...I'm 73 but still in shape. Would love your feedback on the A8 vs. AQ177 if possible. Thanks in advance. I'm 6'2 and 215 lbs.
I haven't tested that bike but I hear good things and I like how they went with a normal seat post. Thanks!
Nice bike and video man, but since the Ghostcat F2.2 Pro is hard for me to decide that there is a better bike for the price. Even though they are different bikes for different purposes, since the F2.2 every Ebike needs a good suspension, even if you are using only on the road.
Again, nice video man. Keep posting!
Tbf, it's a lot better than the vast majority, but yeah, would have killed it with a proper off road package.
Excellent Job Alex!
Thanks man! Appreciate your comment as always!
Smart....Flat-out not Slime !!!
flatout is the best!
Do you think adding a back support would be a good thing?
idk but it would be fun to try
Does it have cruise control?
Yes
Do you think you could mod that front fork to keep it from bottoming out? I really want to get this bike very badly!!
wouldn't mod the existing one but I would just buy a new one.
It would be great to review the Aniioki A8 Pro Max Dual Motor, and pay special attention to the new upgraded motorcycle tires and the fantastic torque for uphill climbs... a topic of great interest for people above 240 pound like me.
Also it would be great to reevaluate the new suspension on the Dual Motor version...!!! Thank you for your interesting and highly informative videos...!!! :)
The Chicks looked impressed at that 0-20 speed
😄😄
Thanks for showing the manual. The display and settings are identical to my Fucare Gemini X ebike.
So do you recommend this bike? I do not see it on the list of recommended bikes
I very much so recommend this for long range mid power bikes! The recommended list is only for higher speed ebikes, but if you want something slower but long range, this would fit the bill.
@@maximumchargeEV I live in Europe, namely Ireland so I am looking for a bike which is first and foremost good for rainy weather and quite comfortable. I am also new to the e bike scene. The aniioki seems great but people complain that it is too heavy. Do you have any bike you could recommend which is comfortable? I don’t care too much about pedalling. But I don’t want to feel like I need a break every 30 min due to pain.
@@hercules6380I got this 52v bike last week, I live in Wales. The bike is heavy but manageable. No problems on hills. I got a top speed of 37+mph on the flats. Battery life is extremely excellent, went to work and back on it all week without charging. Lost 1 bar on the screen at around 38 miles, but lights on the battery showed it was full. Really recommend this bike.
Please...!!! do a review of the A8 Pro Max 52V ..."Dual Motor"...!!!
If they send me one I would love to!
Look’s solid 💪🏼
Sure is!
I need an advice! I want to buy this bike for a long time. But my house has 7 steps at the entrance. You held it in your hands, can an ordinary man raise it 7 steps without removing the battery every time?
Eeehh it's pretty heavy with the battery. It's easy to remove though. Have you practiced with other bikes?
@@maximumchargeEV I currently have a bike that weighs 37-38 kilograms (82 pounds). I lift him up the steps normally. But it is convenient, it has a handle.
This drives me insane man great review but i just bought my hyper scorpion last year and its estimated 70 mile range but i weigh 205 and with pedal assist level 3 im still only getting 35 mile range and this bike has some similarities but ITS cheaper and the range is GODLY!!!! if only i waited a little more to see more range i do door dash so this would be a major help
oh yeah this bike would be the best for you. I'll be uploading a range test video soon.
I love mine but it never gets to 30, What settings you have cause im 168lbs and only getting 29 out of it on straight road
I just turned the speed limit setting all the way up. It should be in the manual. You have the 52v version right?
@@maximumchargeEV yes the 52v, it was stuck at 51km but doesn’t ever hit 30 it only does on a big downhill
@@keapaishere that's strange. The manual should have the top speed setting noted
Esta bici es legal en españa
gracias mi amigo
Its the Controler that's ratteling you could see when you opened it up put some foam around it
could be! It felt really tight in there with all the wires pressed up against it.
Would you take this bike over the GhostCat F2.2?
If i'm going on long ride, yes, it's got the range. If I'm going on a fun ride, ghostcat.
Is this the dual motor version or the wimpy one
Single motor. Why wimpy?
@@maximumchargeEV because it’s 2024. 40mph or gtfo!
@VEGITAS4 one thing youtube videos can't relay is the weight of a bike that can go 40. There's always a trade off. Plus less range cause you'll inevitably use more power. Fast ebikes get the views though I get it.
@@maximumchargeEVdon’t get me wrong I’m not all about the thrills alone, I’m looking for a commuter bike that can keep up with traffic and I’m a heavy rider so it has to have that extra giddy up to move my fat ass.
I think the controller is overkill, too-like, 30 A. I like that.
Yeah it's got some surprisingly good power for sure!
Only thing I don't like is those 20.inch tires. I didnt like that crap when was a kid . Im 6ft4 that would just look goofy .
I think they have a larger full size wheel bike right?
Aniioki A8 Pro max 52v goes to 40 mph and can make Al hills
This is my next ebike
awesome!
more power ....yes......and you always want more and more....and more....and more.....
WOOOOOOOOOOO NOT BOTH WAYS BROTHER😂
I want this bike
It's surprisingly good!
I am waiting on my V3 is that the new battery that Bryson was talking about. Did you add a different controller. The new V3 will I need to add a new controller if I add another battery? Thanks for your help.
I don't think you commented on the right video my friend. As for the other stuff my upgrades are totally aftermarket.
Add some Fox Forks and Rear suspension. 👍
Yeah some modding has to be done.
Are you ok annie?
I was so close to putting a reference to this in the video haha
Annie Oakley!
Bro, aniioki bike is a very low quality bike. aniioki customer service is a very disgusting and fraud company. Forget about 1 year guarantee after 2000 miles.
Please never buy the trash bike
Evidence?
Oh my god....leave it alone...its fine...why are these enthusiasts so intent on upgrade....ride and enjoy...get used to it....most of these reviews are nit picking and redundant and of course purely a matter of non professional opinion. But hey....thanks for the coverage on your opinion of your free bike !!!
I have a problem
@rpmac - I think you need to change your seat as well. You sound butthurt or at the least chafed.
💯‼️
have you been skipping leg day....
Sweet, an electric bike that can take you from Galveston Texas to Corpus Christi Texas in one full charge!
That's a lot of Watt Hours!
It's nuts
Come on then how much does it cost
updated price should be on the website, I left a link in the description.
I can't find the price, come on put the price on, I just don't trust these advertisers on here why are they not upfront with their prices
It cost like 4k. Google is helpful for these types of questions
You could have used that battery for the Kepler.. To late now.
What’s your weight?
200lbs
Unless you need this for long journeys, I wouldn't get this. The battery replacement cost is huge. .
Why would you need a new battery?
@@maximumchargeEV How long do ebike batteries last? Not forever, pops. Typically 3 to 5 years. Then it's time to shell out the $. And the bigger the battery, the more $. And BTW everybody, the exemption on Gump's 25% import tariff tax on Chinese ebikes(most are made in China) , which includes replacement batteries , is soon to expire. More $ from YOU. The Biden administration is keeping Gump's tariffs in place. Once the government is used to getting that extra tax money, there's no turning back. And if Gump is elected, he's promising a 60% tariff on all Chinese goods and 10% on everything else imported. Most economists think it's disastrous, inflation will go bonkers. But Gump thinks he knows!
Brothers thinking 10 years into the future 😂
That cost has been in consistent decline for over a decade. So when you need it it’s likely to be cheaper
@@geauxracerx No, I don't think so.
60 ah ...WOW......
Big boy!
How much did you pay for the bike ? If you got it for free, your tests are biased !!
tell me how math is biased. I literally showed you the proof of what this bike can do. e bike reviewers receive these bikes "for free" and we pay the company with our marketing services. Tell me how exactly my test was biased? Anything specific that you don't like?
@@maximumchargeEV because next you give a not favorable review, you won’t get free any more. I listen to your review…it was over the top 🤮next you ll give a reach around 🫵
@@maximumchargeEV see I called it…next buy it yourself in full, then you can understand what we consumers have sacrifice to get these expensive toys, you get free toys, not the same
huge charge port...never seen that before
The aniioki bike is very low quality trash bike in the world 🌎 with disgusting and fraudulent customer service.
Please never buy the trash bike aniioki
Really? What's your experience?
Masz glos dziewicy..
The suspension looks like it is about useless. Why only 2 inches travel on a 130lb bike? The fat seat post doesn't go high enough to pedal it at all. From the reviews I've read this bikes geometry is way off to be able to pedal it and it is so heavy. I want a bike I can pedal home if I wanted to and this bike seems like one of the worst to pedal. Won't get my money until they improve it quite a bit in numerous areas. The Wallkee A8 AWD handles way better, out accelerates this bike and will out accelerate this bike.
You're not going to be pedaling a 130 lb bike no matter what your seating position is
Except that this e-bike is not legal in NYC
because of the UL laws?
FFS, if everyone was like you we'd have no freedoms left. You should treat it as your duty to violate unjust bs laws.
Besides, cops in nyc won't give this bike a second look unless theyre interested in ebikes. They have bigger, more obvious concerns.
Just look at the amount of unregistered gas scooters they've taken off the streets and yet there's still more...and they're obvious.
Unless you are riding dangerously fast on a busy sidewalk, nobody cares.
It's amazing people still worry about following ebike class laws for bike paths and just in general.
No ebike needs banning or overly complicated laws when simple speed limits are enough.
Forget ur mods and do an actual range test
going what speed?
I need a phone number so I can purchase the bike
@gregoryscorza6391 - you may be too old if you require a phone number to purchase something lol.
I'd rather trust https website encryption over a stranger taking down my cc info by phone.
I need your phone number so I can purchase the bike. Thank you.
shunt mod....but really....I don't like the look of the bike....sell it......
chickens....
This bike looks ugly. My home built ebike beats this in every way at a fraction of the cost.
Enjoy yourself
Well, what's the build?
yeah it's ugly, but performance to dollar is good
Why are you posting this lie of 200+ miles?
If you pedal 15mph you can get 200
@@maximumchargeEV sez who?
@johnrob3215 says me when I got 65miles on my kepler battery that's 1/3 the size of this one.
@maximumchargeEV if you turn off the battery completely and pedal it I bet you can get 72...
@johnrob3215 if you watch the video you'll see that I mention a future video I do, I got 60 miles of range and the battery was at 50 volts. That was going fast and mostly throttle too
You deep down inside want the Town to raise your taxes to get good sidewalks.....
F tax
What helmet do you have
Bell sanction
Would be better with alloy wheels spokes are pants
Mag wheels are more durable, but much heavier too. It's a trade off.
@@maximumchargeEVI got the dual motor. It would be a nice option mags or spokes.
