Wale Opens Up On Mental Health, Mac Miller & Nipsey Hussle's Passing + Top 50 Lists

- Wale passed through Ebro in the Morning to discuss his brand new music and open up on some of his personal experiences on the project.
The D.C. rapper opens up on mental illness, and how fans will be able to relate to specific topics on his project that will tackle his own experiences with it. He also discusses Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle's passing including what he was doing at the time he received both separate calls.
Other topics including working with Meek Mill and Rick Ross again on a track on the album as well as his personal feelings on the Top 50 List movement earlier this year.
His project, 'Wow...That's Crazy' is scheduled to be released Friday, October 10.

There is various levels of Anxiety. Yes there is "chronic anxiety" which is clinically diagnosed and excessive, but non-clinical anxiety (general anxiety, social anxiety, etc.) is not bullshit, its "non-clinical," and affects real people. Guess what? One of the reasons why there is a crises with opioids and other drug abuse (as Wale pointed out) is because of "everyday, non-clinical anxiety." I love that people are gaining self-awareness/insight of their relationship to their own mental health and identifying "worry, nervousness, etc." as anxiety, it is a great starting point. Because the body doesn't know distinguish between rational or irrational anxiety, it just response. Rosenberg we must be better.

Hey wale, weed, tobacco, and alcohol can intensify anxiety. I don’t know if you mess around like that, I’d just thought I’d throw that out there. Sometimes weed for example will help depression, but sometimes it makes you anxious as hell. It seems to make the people with true anxiety worse.
