thats awesome! consider this the sequel to the video that nobody asked for. I think its worth revisiting especially when its a piece thats well priced and high quality like the baggies

Hi there! One thing I like about baggies is that the front pockets are sewn into the actual short so they don’t wiggle around. Do you know if the Columbia shorts do the same?
The quality isn’t anywhere the same, because Patagonia Baggies are made from 100% recycled nylon and they’re fair trade sewn. Additionally, Patagonia will repair any of their items forever, and most of the time they do it for free.
I keep getting “woven” or “nylon” shorts and I really don’t like that they all seam to go with the netting. I’m hoping my local tailor can remove it cleanly because I really prefer to wear boxers. It’s been like a dilemma for me to find some good summer shorts.
I love Patagonia, but when it comes to baggies they are my least favorite of all brands. TNF, Nike, Columbia, LLBean all make better versions in my opinion. Nothing to do with the quality though, it’s just the way they fit for me.
