It was a rough one on the wallet for sure lol but I’m glad you got to do something similar!! I was a little bummed Geissele didn’t do a blem blowout but I’ll survive. I hope you enjoy your setup!!
@@SeanGPT I'm happy with the build, got to try it out after Christmas! My P365 was the original shorty before I built it just like your setup and the difference is night and day with the Icarus AIR polymer grip module and the Radian Afterburner and Ramjet 😁. Superstition Concealment makes great IWB/OWB holsters that work great with this setup and they make them quick and they ship them out fast!
This is exactly what I was thinking about on a build like this. I am still torn between the aluminum Icarus frame and the less expensive polymer version that you used. I already have an FCU to drop in. I would probably get a NORSSO slide for an aesthetically appealing look and add an EPS carry green dot. Kind of ruins this budget and I am still recovering from my last SIG build but still fun.
It really depends on what you prioritize with the grips. The aluminum frame is so nice, but also add weight. That helps with recoil but also is a factor when carrying! I went with the polymer grip for the price value but also the weight savings, where it makes this super nice to carry!
I should add that generally, I wear sweatpants with the HC belt underneath to carry, so having a gun that stays in place just off the tension of the belt without the support of loops is a big factor
@@SeanGPT I have several pair of the Arrowhead Tactical shorts and joggers that have a internal belt for concealed carry that are nice for that reason. I have an aluminum frame build that I carry already and it is very doable but lighter would still be very nice in many different scenarios. I may start with the polymer frame and see what it is like and later if I want I can swap it out for the aluminum. Definitely keep making these videos! Great content!
@ that sounds like a great route to go! I’d just grab the polymer, I think you’ll be pleased. I had very high expectations of the grip module and it definitely exceeded them
@ absolutely you do! My QVO holster shipped yesterday and should be in next week so that’ll be the cherry on top of this build! Will definitely be doing an update when it comes in!
@@Alday21 yes I do! I have always carried appendix and always will. The biggest part is finding a setup that works for you and unfortunately, it’s trial and error. The first step is a good belt, for that I’d recommend the Hunter Constantine. You can run it through loops or wear it under sweats/shorts on its own. I will be covering that next week if you want some more detail on that. As for the holster, I’ve found appendix rigs to be more comfy because of the sturdiness but a lot of the time, I just run the gun in a standard holster. I couldn’t recommend QVO more for any holsters, they offer so many
Thank you! Honestly, nothing on the slide itself. The comp gets dirty but it’s actually cleaner than what I would have expected. The bottom of the comps are where all the carbon really gets caked up
You sure can! That’s actually one of the best ways to do it since you don’t need a different slide or FCU! Just the grip and the radian ramjet + afterburner!
@ for sure! It is the Icarus Precision Air Polymer X macro grip. If you go to the Icarus website, select sig sauer and it should pop up for you! Let me know if you have any issues finding it though, super happy to help with anything you need
I believe I paid a little less than 250-275 for this one essentially brand new with the recoil spring/guide rod. I did search for about a week to find the best deal. eBay, Reddit, tacswap, searching retailers to see if they have the slides brand new for a sale price that’s less than sigs website, etc
@SeanGPT then it's better to just buy a brand new p365 instead of fcu + slide. Because if u buy a whole p365 it's $500 and u can sell off the mag and grip module and possibly the hard pistol case lol
Great question, this particular icarus will work with any 3.7in sig length configuration, so a 3.7in barrel, 3.1in with comp etc. Of you go on their website, you’ll see all of the different grip modules they make for all 365’s
Great question! Unfortunately, it will not. I had the x macro comp, sold the slide and bought the normal 365 slide to make this work. Since the x macro comp already has a compensator, it wouldn’t work since the barrel would go past it anyways if that makes sense. Radian told me eventually they will have a barrel and comp setup for the 3.7in non comp slide eventually
My question is, does the m cabro fit in that trigger housing? My Armory Craft flat trigger scraps the bottom, not allowing for a full trigger pull. It no workie.
Great question, it was something I wondered as well. According to people on Reddit, it does. I’ve seen photos and videos but was skeptical before because the trigger guard definitely feels a hair more shallow than OEM. Good to know though, armory craft was on my radar as well!
My Icarus fdez werx grip fits with the Mcarbo trigger. I had to tap the FCU in, but that was unrelated to trigger clearance. Fits and functions correctly!
@ thank you for sharing your experience! Did the mcarbo help with the lengthy reset? I understand I might not gain much from the smoothness of the break but I’m curious about the pull length and reset.
@SeanGPT the trigger does help. It's probably my favorite upgrade on this gun so far, even without the spring kit. I did go in and polish up the trigger, trigger bar, sear, housing and pins which also made a very positive improvement overall. Incredibly nice now! Just be sure to check the overtravel screw before you loctite it down 😆
Great question! The 507c utilizes an RMR cut, the sig factory slides are all cut to RMSc, due to them being so slim. You can use an adapter plate but the 507c would not fit directly. The 507k will fit directly though!
Bro, I just bought P365X w/ manual safety and was thinking of I wanted to do to it. You’ve convinced me. Well done video!
Awesome!! Glad I could help, you won’t be disappointed!
Thanks. Absolutely love your videos
Thank you! That means a lot! I’m working on another holster video for this setup here that will be live this coming week so stay tuned!
Nice build brotha!! I did a build that is almost just like your this holiday season, black friday deals were hard to pass on this year lol

Should absolutely go with the Tyrant CNC IntelliFire trigger. Beautiful and super reliable.
I’ve heard great things!

Freaking awesome build man!
Thank you very much!! Super happy with it so far! Wait till you see the other builds I’ll be covering in future videos!

amazing video. well done sir
Thank you kindly!
Other than using a Safety model grip model with a non-safety FCU, looks good.
As I mentioned lol, safety should be here any day now
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, I’m a fan of your channel! I drank my coffee watching your most recent EDC video 🔥
@ love, brother
Nice build. Curious about how dirty the slide and the top of the ram jet gets after a trip to the range.

@
Thanks for the reply. I’ve been looking at the ramjet. Don’t really want to take my macro apart. I’ll be looking for a used 365 micro. 👍
@ not a bad route to go either!
Can you do this build with a base p365? I don't have a X,XL or a Macro.
You sure can! That’s actually one of the best ways to do it since you don’t need a different slide or FCU! Just the grip and the radian ramjet + afterburner!

how much did u get the slide for? i cant find it under $200 lol

What is your favorite food?
McDonald’s but only when it was left on top of me after I fall asleep. What about you
You can just get a Legion for less money and have the same performance or better.
I would have to severely disagree with a legion is better than any way aside from being a cash grab from Sig 😂
Would Holosun 507c fit on that slide?
