A good rule of thumb for standard concrete mix is: Up to about 4 inch slump, concrete breaks up over mixer blades. About 5 inch and over, concrete begins to roll over blades like a wave. When you see trout jumping out of it, then it's probably too wet.
Well, this was a nice little informative video. I just started this week training and when he was asking me about the slumps, I had no idea what he was talking about cause I don’t know the difference but this video helped a lot. Thanks.

Can you upload this video with the original sound. It will help a lot to listen to when it falls.
Not a lie, from the crunchy poo drops to the slurpy whoosh sounds. Each slump rolls distinctly. Please re-edit with sounds
Sorry no, it was recorded with out sounds
@@mickeey0906 With a good enough ear you don't need even need to check your slump gauge or look in the barrel to know what you got left.

Spot on!!
A good question whats a good speed to tell slump.
I do idle, full charge, thanks for asking
Idle full charge only not full rabbit throttle speed correct?
How many seconds of water do u think for each slump? I was told to count 1, 1 thousand ?
How did it go?
I do 1 1thousand 1, but every mixer is different, you will get it figured out
