    Flexcut is the best knife for the money and their customer service is amazing. I've had one problem in about 15 years of using their tools and I had a new tool in the mail, no questions asked, within 5 days.

    I've been carving for 2 years now but I love that you show a strop in every video. It reminds me like "HEY IDIOT SHARPEN YOUR KNIFE BEFORE YOU GET TOO FRUSTRATED AND GIVE UP"

    This is such a wonderful video! The way you set up the face cleared up quite a few things I’ve been struggling with. Thank you!

    Ok, I can’t keep up, 😂. I enjoy these short videos that you’ve done recently, and I think this is the best yet. I will attempt it soon. I promise! Thanks!

    You have the exact type of flooring that I have!!! My wife worked at the place that sold the stuff! It’s really nice and seems to hold up well!!! Nice job on the wizard too !!! You really should put your cut glove on though!!!

    You are a very helpful teacher. Thanks so much. I am an absolute beginner. So I have a novice knife question. FlexCut offers several knives. The one you are using has a curved sharpened edge. Several of the other FlexCut knives are straight. Is there an advantage of the curved knife edge over the straight edge knife?

    Hi Alec;
    You said if you don't have a bandsaw. I assume that you do have a bandsaw and are using it to cut your 2" square blocks in half? I don't have a bandsaw to do that. I'm trying to figure out how to make that cut another way. If my scroll saw doesn't have a large enough throat opening, I'm thinking of making a jig to do it with on my table saw.

    Other carvers that first draw SO many pencil lines, really messes with my brain. Thanks for not being one of them. ❤

    Could you talk about grain when it comes to cutting blocks in half . Is it better for the grain to be going towards the corner or not. I watched the part when you carved the eyes like 6 or 8 times I'm still not getting it . Maybe you could do videos on each part of the face . Like eyes, nose, mouth, . Really enjoy your videos, I also watch coffee and carving really good show been missing it the last couple of weeks. I have a challenge for you and Doug you guys should do a carving of each other .
