I like many others relate so hard, I want someone to save me from my darkness, from my fear, from the anguish and hatred. Tohru is that light that shines in the darkness. Damnit man I wish life was like this sometimes.
This story is so therapeutic. All the characters are relatable. They have real weakness that they’re almost like real people. I’ll never stop recommending reading the manga and watching this anime. 💕

Megumi is really a good little brother quite supportive of his sister and her wellbeing, surprising since he kinda acts like his sis but that aside truly one of the best relationship s in this series
bro fruits basket lowkey hits different. it also gives you a sense that it does get better. if you think what your going through wont end you just need a tohru in your life someone who will brighten up your path in life so you can walk steadily. someone who will pick up when you fall and put riight back on track right no you may feel like your path isnt there and your just walking in circles but trust one day someone will come and open up your eyes to see something you never thought you could see. That ost feels so weirdly nostalgic of something I never lived, like a nostalgic feeling of another life, this ost feels the same as the ost ''furusato no nioi'' from natsume yuujinchou, I imagine myself in a house, in a green field, with sun and cold wind, and people I don't know but somehow feels like I know them but can't remember them, it's so weird. These ost to me are really a breath of fresh air, but air that seems familiar but also really unknown for some reason, like if it was someone else's life or maybe a past life, something like that, I don't know it's just weird, but at the same time a very pleasant and comforting feeling.

Jeez finally found it I LOVE this bgm! First time hearing it was the god and the zodiac animal's story and as I hear tohru (i think) narrating it I thought it sounded so suffocating for some reason. It really gave a feeling that they were all bound together with the "bond".
