In this video, there are 3 tests introduced: Test 1, dripping test at 2:35 ; Test 2, adsorption test at 4:00 ; Test 3, vaporization or disperse test at 7:16 .
Thank you for your wonderful video.. But I have a question.. it's my first purchase of lavender oil...and I don't know how it smells.. please tell me How lavender oil smells like??
Hi, lavender essential oil is a wonderful full function oil which is good for calming, reduce pain, reduce inflammation and relief burn pain. However you do need real oil. It smells with some grass smell with lavender smell. Not super fragrant. You may also try the dripping test. Real oil will come out of bottle very easily and fast.
You are welcome! Actually the other way is making your own lavender essential oil by distillation at home. There will be no more worrying about quality of oil plus free hydrosol. Here is a short video: ua-cam.com/video/zFyK1PLQOAg/v-deo.html
Dripping test can be decided either by quality of oil or by the bottle. The other way you may want to try is drip on a tissue paper (not print paper) and also drip same drops of olive oil on the side. Put it on a lamp so help it dry faster. It may take couple days to fully dry essential oil but olive oil won’t. You will see oil mark if it is not pure.
Hi, thank you for your comments. In this video the methods are based on essential oil basic physical properties like volatile and penetrating. They are easier and quick to be done without or with simple material.
