My theory is that they thought that they were supposed to pick one sound effect to use every time they were prompted, not different sound effects for each situation. It's important to keep in mind when watching Whose Line that not everyone in the audience is a long time fan or anything, they only get the 5-second explanation Drew gives them. :)
THATS why I like the AUDIENCE to participate instead of all the guest stars in the new 9th season of "whose line" Ya never know whats gonna happen. "LOL!!!" It puts the actors on the spot lol!

Plus they didn't want to participate so they're obviously gonna half-ass it anyway but it made Colin and Ryan pull their A-game to compensate which was amazing

They said no for a reason. No means no! This is why people with heavy anxiety tend to stay out of the public eye as much as possible.

Maybe then at some point, what she was doing was kind of working for laughs and she kept it going. But all the more likely, she was in a state of delirium until the trigger was over. I can empathize a lot with what she went through. It's not fun. Although, it sure was funny.
Watch the sound effects that is about Frankenstein's castle. That episode is what these games should be. The people in that episode actually tried to make decent sound, and we're down right awful at it, but that didn't stop them from trying. In this episode, one old lady only knows how to say ooOoOo, and the other one seems like something that would live in a garbage can on Sesame Street. The Frankenstein episode is hilarious, so go watch that one instead.
