Well, it took a couple days of on and off watching, but I finished the video. Absolutely loved it. Followed Subnautica throughout the majority of its development and seen dozens of youtubers play it all the way through, and I still enjoyed this video a ton. It's always a joy to see someone's blind reaction to everything this amazing game has to offer, and you were frankly hilarious too.

Cmon if you've made it to the end of the game you know that we definitely didnt need to do that fetch quest for the hatching enzymes. We could've just used that lube to skip it entirely and give the sea emporors a better chance with some more homebrew """hatching enzymes."""

Everybody can play how they want ofcourse. But in my opinion Subnautica isn’t a game where you need the wiki or a walkthrough to enjoy and explore the entire game like waffle did in the video. It’s so cool to explore and find stuff out on your own! One of the best things about the game
22:17 imo that should deal a point of damage just because it’s funny. ALTERNATIVELY, they could add a feature where if you do it too many times, that amount being a random amount between 10-50, then it’ll just either warn you about doing it too much or just kill you.

It is probably a result of that glitch where certain creatures will start accelerating in a random direction. Basically a creature will go flying in a random direction, and the glitch is very common, I have seen it happen 100+ times. It has resulted in two bonesharks in the safe shallows in my world.
I lost my first seamoth because I wasn't paying attention, drove into a cave, and hit the walls over and over again. The damage stacked so fast I couldn't react ;-;
