Don’t bother bro. I don’t wanna rain on your parade or anything, but I myself recently got a PC to mod games too. Something I hadn’t considered. Lazy Mod Authors. I get it, I’m not a Creator so it sounds bitter to call them lazy. But there are mods that haven’t been updated in years for Bannerlord, and Mods that aren’t updated, means mods that won’t work for current versions. You can play on older versions, but that means you can’t play with Mods that actually get updated regularly to keep up with the current game version. If ur gonna get a PC to mod other games, go for it bro, but Bannerlord’s modding community has outdated mods all over the place. Even mods like My little war band haven’t been touched since last year. Such a bummer but I wish I knew that before I bought Bannerlord again

1.Looks for mods that are good, and compile the best mods worth 50+ 2. Download the 50+ mods then pit them in a load order 3.Gets stuck in a cycle of launch error figure out whats wrong or which mod is faulty or which mods are incompatible with each other then launch again until everything is done for almost a day. 4. Plays the modded game for a couple of hours.... 5. Finds an error while in game (not at launch) 6. Repeats 3 7. Gets tired 8. Taleworlds after no updates for 6 months decides to patch the game....... Now most of your mods are fucked.
Unlimited companions is a bit too overpowered in my opinion, especially in no death/birth sandbox mode. Late game your companions will wipe the floor with you in the arena tournament, particularly if their combat related skill level is over 250. It becomes humanly impossible to react in time to doge attacks, or predict their attacks to parry or block them without a shield, outrunning them also becomes impossible. If their skills are maxed out at 330 your chances of winning will become almost zero, now imagine a whole army of them tearing other significantly weaker units on the field whose total combat abilities average around 140. Its like facing a Khans Guard against a stone throwing Looter. I have nothing against the mod but it needs balance, if you can get unlimited companions AI should as well! With passive leveling system to strengthen them over time.
Good video. I use most of this also + telephaty(messanger make crash for me) and more companions in tavern and set 3 companion always be in tavern. But very important I edited file item.modifier and changed drop_score to 0 for all Legendary Masterwork and Fine items exception large begs. Valuable items will never drop in battlefield and makes game more difficult to get money and you need to spend money for better gear in the town or win in tournament + I added drop_score to rusty damaged and ruined and changed price value to the items because you get a choice what items are profitable which are for discart or smelted makes game more interesting because easy money = easy conquere = boring conquest. Also testing leveling rebalance where 300 skill was reworked and require only focus points. Don't know consequences on NPC recruitment but I also like true army costs where recruits are more expensive. I pay 200-2000 as percentage costs of their equipment + more expensive upgrades. Also like Horses mod when you get bond level your horse comes to you after pressing Q key.
So that part can be tricky. A lot of mods are never up to date with the most current version so you have to lock the version of the game if you're planning to do any real campaign.
Use mods mods that are specifically for your version of the game, some 1.2.8 mods are very much compatible with 1.2.9, but some aren't, then there are older mods that are 100% not compatible with updated versions. Also you need to sort your load order, don't download mods then not sort your load order because that will definitely crash your game, if using BLSE I wouldn't recommend using the 'Beta sorting' option on that because it just sorts them alphabetically rather than what should go where. Mods that significantly change the game, usually go at bottom, mods that don't, usually go above. That how I've always worked it and I never crash. Main mods are typically, as follows, Harmony, UIExtender, ButterLib, MCM and BLSE. They're very easy to install and what's easier is that these mods go above EVERYTHING in your load order, including Taleworld things in your Launcher, but once installed they should already be automatically above. BLSE you'll have to do manually, extract the file then open it, have a side by side window of your bin file and the mods bin file, move the contents Win64 Shippingclient from your mod, to your Win64 shipping client in your bannerlords bin folder. Then launch the game from BLSE. If you need anymore information, I'm happy to help. But those are the main mods you'll need to run other mods. Don't attempt to install and run mods without those essentials installed.

Did anyone successfully install rts camera because everytime i make my character the game crashes with no crash reporter. So basically i installed the mod on the vortex mod manager i installed rts camera 1.8 and command systems 1.8 when i enabled them in the bannerlord luancher im able to launch the game and make a character but right as i click start my game crashes i have no clue what im doing wrong
Why would executed lords drop gear? That's just dumb. If someone is already your prisoner, why would you have to wait until they're dead to confiscate their possessions?

I started banner about three weeks ago and I already have over 120 hours. The main reason is, I wanted to do a similar thing I did with fallout new Vegas. Play The vanilla game as much as I could, and then decide what needs to be improved. only my first mod in and YES!!, 100% agree. How realistic is it that my band of ruthless mercenaries beheads someone and the entire entire world knows😂 they hold me back from taking down clans indefinitely because of the harsh repercussions. How am I being punished for taking down enemies?
Its never been compatible with anything- thats why the discussion boards have warned you for 6 years in a row- game is broken and will never stop crashing despite any efforts
Is there a mod that stops the looter rocks from killing you when you have endgame armor? It seems pretty stupid their weapons bounce off me but if they pick up rocks I'm fucked
Go to Nexus, type RTS Camera 1.2.8, it works absolutely fine for 1.2.9 as not too much was changed between 1.2.8 and 1.2.9 , if you are using that one and it crashes, then it's mod conflictions.

If one mod changes a certain aspect of the game and another mod changes that same aspect, then they won't be compatible. For example, Diplomacy mod isn't compatible with Banner Kings mod because Banner Kings has its own diplomacy system inside of the mod. Make sense?. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy. However, don't attempt to run mods without the essential mods, Harmony, UIExtender, ButterLib, MCM and BLSE, almost all bannerlord modd require those, so if they're not installed, most mods won't work properly. They're easy to install and they sort themselves where they should go in your load order, If not, then know that the go ABOVE EVERYTHING in your launcher. Remember that load order matters too, mods that change the game significantly, usually go below, and mods that don't usually go above. If you need any help, I'll try to help you, but have a play around with different mods and you'll understand a bit more about modding and why certain mods dont work with others.
can someone expalin to me why this game is good? I have 20 hours into it and ive gotten the point where im rich and my army beats everything even if outnumbered 3:1. Im not sure how to improve the game even via mods
Try rbm set difficulty to hardest make yourself fight on foot rather than on horseback no archers just infantry anything like that can make it so it’s a challenging game, I myself like to play as vikings in 1100 and don’t use any cav makes intresting gameplay would recommend

? I've had no issue with the game both on console and PC. Put more than 80 hours in on console side and about 30 on PC. Yea Ive had a few crashes here and there but definitely playable with not many issues.
Yeah sounds like a personal issue. The discussion boards isn’t composed of people only complaining either. This comment was such a far stretch lol, modding makes the game better than it is. Stick to Warband if bannerlord is such a issue on your horrible PC

Some of these mods undermine the game, wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. The opposite of best mods.

If you always min max a game and want to beat it as fast as you can this isn’t the game for you
