Who at BBC thought it was a good idea to stitch these out of order?
Thank you. I was just coming here to say that. Would have been so much more impactful to watch each Doctor come in and then out.
Its the BBC. They're the same people who thought the best writers for 13 was people who never seen Doctor Who or had any background in Sci-fi.
It wasn't even backwards!
It's just meant to be a compilation type of video since the live stream didn't have them in chronological order either.
Perhaps relatives of the same people at the BBC who thought it was a good idea to destroy old episodes of Doctor Who.
Happy 90th birthday, Tom Baker. You're still my favourite Doctor.
He's still alive
Did you know it’s thanks to the children’s magazine program Blue Peter that we have footage of the first Dr’s regeneration.
And the Absorbaloff monster was a BP comp winner
The 5th Doctor's regeneration in The Caves of Androzani is still my favourite. Classic Who moment! 😀👍
More than that. Perhaps the greatest Doctor Who story of all time?
@octaviusfooks7194 Its certainly one of the all-time-greats. Near flawless even.
@@marcamusprime9513Especially when you've already wrecked your TARDIS doing it twice before.
@marcamusprime9513 Yes, it waa good to see a regeneration outside the TARDIS for a change as well. 13's was a beautifully filmed scene
@@paulbowler5345 It didn't always take place in the TARDIS even before then remember? 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 7-8, 8-War.
I cried when 10 regenerated and I cried even more when 11 regenerated...it was Amy Pond that really made me lose it. Not as much now, but a tear did come to my eye watching them both again

16 regenerations and one bi-generation later… 😂
Also technically two of these were fake regenerations so they shouldn’t count. Older 11 by the lake with the astronaut (River) was actually the tesselecta in disguise. Bill never actually shot 12 because that gun had blanks in it and he never actually regenerated. Also what was the point of the Time Lords giving the Doctor a new regeneration cycle if he had an unlimited supply?
Thank you no idea why there isnt one in the video or why its not in order
It's not even in official cannon timeline
Actually the First Doctor regeneration from _Twice Upon a Time_ was before the 12-13 one.
@@adamstewart9052He was telling the order the video showed
Why would you not put the regenerations in order?
I know. They should be in order.
Because then we could SEE the decline of this once great show!
It's BBC, the same company who messed up 13's tenure and story what do you expect?
If I had a nickel for every time RTD created a twist regeneration that was correctly predicted by the Doctor Who fandom, I’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

@@anon5263There have been hints of the Doctor having sexual or romantic relationships outside of his family even in the original '63 to '89 series with Patrick Troughton's incarnation being speculated by fans to have had an affair with Jamie.
Apparently the bi-generation could be seen as something similar to Cho-Je assisting K'anpo as a projection or the Watcher merging to complete regeneration once for the Doctor.

Why the hell are they all out of order
I’m guessing tenants doctor will now live a quiet life with his earth family. And the new doctor runs around the universe.
I’m really going to look forward to a multi doctor storyline. I want to see them all together. Even the war doctor.
A story taking place in a psychic realm support group of the 15 doctors. Telling their stories and blaming eachother for things.
I want to see the twelfth hang around with the fourteenth and eleventh.
Unfortunately the war doctors actor passed away

Why is this in no particular order what so ever 😂
It's just a compilation of sorts seeing as it includes the Teselecta regeneration which was the same as the livestream.
Honestly I love the regenerations because they are so awesome plus we see the doctor becoming a new person and we see what that new doctor has in Store for us viewers
I agree with that if it's the right time for the Regeneration if it's not then I'm sort of against it because we haven't gotten to know the Doctor Who has been there before the Next Generation
I've been waiting for this updated video for ages... and they're all jumbled up in any order. Such a strange choice.
I wonder the regenerations that River Song given the doctor played a part in the Doctor's bi-regenaration 🤔
Also the time when the twelfth Doctor borrowed his eyesight from a future regeneration, he said that it could have consequences.
@@sabrinatirabassi3529 oh yeah, totally forgot about when Bill makes a deal with Monks.
Or how the Toymaker messed with reality when he’s around so because it’s a myth like Ncuti says it becomes a reality
So when the OOD the song was ending, but the story never ends… I guess the universe wanted to hear the song again. 😂
Doesn't the 11th Doctor not being able to regenerate at 18:12 but then receiving regeneration energy at 18:12 and consequently regenerating contradict with the idea of the Doctor having unlimited regenerations because they are the Timeless Child? Why was the 11th Doctor unable to regenerate if he had unlimited regenerations? Why did he start regenerating only after receiving regeneration energy at 18:12? Or did the 11th Doctor simply choose not to regenerate until he received regeneration energy at 18:12?
the 11th Doctor's regeneration into 12 happened before the Timeless Child stuff was ever revealed, so there's no real way to explain it.
@@cameronbaker97 The thing is, the Doctor was always still the Timeless Child even during the time of the 11th and 12th Doctors.
I think what you should be saying is "Doesn't the fact that the Doctor is the Timeless Child contradict the fact that they've always been a regular Timelord with an established limited regeneration cycle?"
@@kyrollos0208 Since the Timelords can grant X amount of regenerations to each other (usually 12), I think it's safe to assume they can control how how limiting the number can be, the idea of regeneration came from the Timeless Child after all, if they can control it for other Timelords, they can probably do the same for TC
@@YaBoiJoosh That would mean that the Time Lords limited the TC's infinite regenerations. How can infinity become limited unless the regeneration ability is somehow disabled? (The Doctor Who wiki says that the TC has infinite regenerations.)

For me it's been the opposite. The more russell talks about it, the more I loathe it. Hopefully this is just a time loop thing.
I would love a plus size or disabled doctor one day, not just a abled person playing disability or plot-related, I want a badass disabled doctor who can do anything even though she’s disabled, possibly a blind doctor since 13 borrowed sight from his future when blinded. I’d also like to see a nonbinary or intersex doctor (I know the are already nonbinary but I’d love to see them adopt that label and be proud of their fluid gender or outwardly do gender-fucky things more)

All complaints aside, I have to say, I love how David Tennant bi-generated, also love the newest Doctor, Ncuti ( hope I spelled that right 👍
There are some scenes that don’t necessarily count in my opinion
Previous docs did not bi-generate. We would've seen it. Plus re-generate is such a nice word and bi-generate such an ugly sounding one, it creates separation where previously there was continuity and unity.
I mean, I think its implied to be a different timeline
bi-generate doesn't flow off the toungue as well as regenerate, because regenerate is an actual word. and because bi-generate is new so we're not use to it.

I think Fourteen, now a separate entity due to bi-generation, will go on to become The Curator (Tom Baker) from The Day of The Doctor. This I can accept as canon. 😊
I actually think this is how the Valeyard will get created in the future. The amalgamation of the Doctor’s dark side gets bi-generated into a separate incarnation. The Doctor becomes evil but at the same time doesn’t become evil.

Usually all the Doctors are roaming about in their Tardis but they are in fact all the same person and machine at different points in time. 15 seems to be piloting a duplicate Tardis. It would have made more sense to me if 15 just whistled for his own Tardis and to have that appear instead.

He didn't want to wait so made it happen and didn't really care about it happening as long as he could play with the next Doctor, as proven by the fact he didn't threaten Donna or Mel for joining him!
He didn't want to kill him. Pay attention before you comment
@@TomWDW1 can you not see the dam laser he is firing directly at him or are you blind ?
@@CricketEngland and are you an idiot? He didn't want to permanently kill him, as you implied. He wanted him to regenerate. Which he did [sorta]
While the Toymaker can basiclly do anything, he can't kill the Doctor. He is bound by the rules of play, so he would be unable to kill him before they finish their best-of-3 game. Not that he would ever want to kill him as the doctor is too valuable of a collectable.
The new all regenerations video is here lads. And they are cheating this time
Why are these out of order its so jarring?
Bi-regeneration was something someone thought was cool about an hour before writing the script since it shows someones sexual preference.
And it's lame.
