Nawaz Sharief tried to score a diplomatic point by mentioning that the Pakistani defense establishment was responsible for this incursion...had he even known it, would have hardly made any impact as Pakistani Army is the only deciding factor for anything regarding their nation, the civilian government didn't have any say running this country

You could have easily Googled the designations of for example, General Aziz was not the Vice Chief, he was the CGS. You did not mention that Indian ingress into Siachen itself is an act of aggression and violation of the 1972 pact on LOC. I can write a very long comment here but suffice it to say, next time, please do some research or speak with people who can guide you.
India did lost the war, and then India begged Israel to come help them in the conflict. And India is still paying Israel twelve billion per year for their involvement.
