This is a great song, thanks for listening to it, it song almost makes me cry. Eivør vocals here are so softly and gently. For a long time I thought that the male voice on this song belonged to the Canadian country singer Bill Bourne, who was the producer and co-writer of the third Eivør studio album. But just now I've managed to find that it was actually Petur Polson voice, who is singer-songwriter from the Faroe Islands. Both he and Eivør was a members of faroese rock band Clickhaze 25 years ago at early days of their musical career. However, if you want to listen to more cover versions of famous songs with Eivør vocals, then I can suggest the song "No woman no cry", which was originally composed and sung by Bob Marley, and Bill Bourne performed it together with Eivør on his album called Boon Tang. Only studio version of this cover-version present on UA-cam and Eivør not metioned there. So not many people know about Eivør sang this song.
And by the way, on the Boon Tang album there is another remarkable cover with Eivør’s vocals, a song called The Terror Time. And there are truly breathtaking vocals, Eivør just takes your soul out with her singing. But I don’t know how to find the original song that Evan MacColl composed more than half a century ago; there are only covers on UA-cam.
