    This was so sad, I remember when this happened, my mother hated the government for doing such a terrible thing she use to say; "I love my country, but I fear my Government."

    • @alanwest1067

      She always has been “a better person”. She was a “better person” before the murders of her family by the United States Government and she remained a “better person” afterwards. She is just a “better person” period because she was raised by her mother and her father, not raised in “the system”. Don’t get it twisted.

    Incredible young lady. I have watched and read everything I could on this tragedy. I met Randy Weaver at a gun show in Tennessee. I have the highest regards for him and Sarah. He autographed my book I took to the gun show he was at. He had signed the books he was selling that day with, Freedom at any cost. He liked that I had bought my book beforehand and signed it, “ It’s a pleasure to know you Sir, Randy Weaver.” That meant a lot to me. I still have that book and keep it locked up in my gun safe. My fascination with this story is, why would the U. S. government go after a non threatening and non violet family as the Randy Weaver family? Makes one wonder, does it not. I drove all the way to Idaho to see what I could of this. I turned around on the bridge where Randy was arrested and could not get to the actual home site. I’m glad Sarah is doing well and hope Randy and his youngest daughter are also. God bless.

      I've wondered about visiting the ruby ridge site. Very interested in going there if possible. If you don't mind me asking, why did you turn around? Were you told you had to? Is it possible to visit the site? Is anyone living on the property currently? Thanks.

    • @garyknepper4546
      @garyknepper4546 3 роки тому +6

      @@theamericanpatriot87 not exactly told to turn around but at the Coeur d’ Alene not sure it was that but close there I stopped at a visitors center and asked about the site. An elderly lady told me, “we prefer not to be linked with Randy Weaver.” I said, “well that may be, but I’m afraid history won’t allow that.” She would not tell me how to get to it. Her husband was in there with her and he followed me out and told me how to get to it. He said, “I’d be careful about trying to go up in there. He said people act pretty strange about it and you may run into trouble.” So I went searching. I found the Rainbow Lodge where the FBI hung out. I could not tell exactly what road went to the house site. It’s pretty much like a logging road and rough. I crossed the bridge and started up in there and it got rough in a hurry. So I backed back across the bridge and left. When I got back to Virginia I looked at my books on the subject and knew I had turned around on the bridge the FBI blocked and arrested Randy on. I did not even take a picture of the bridge. I don’t think the house is there any more but can’t say for sure. I also think someone else bought the property? Hope that is helpful to you.

    • @theamericanpatriot87
      @theamericanpatriot87 3 роки тому +2

      @@garyknepper4546 it is helpful thanks. I wonder why people in that area act strange about people going up in there and why it can lead to trouble. It happened so long ago you would think there would be no problem visiting. But the fact that people are still acting strange about it seems a little weird to me. The fact that trying to visit the site can lead to trouble seems strange as well. What is it about the site and what took place that people are still holding onto? I'm just thinking out loud.

    • @garyknepper4546
      @garyknepper4546 3 роки тому +2

      @@theamericanpatriot87 I can’t answer the questions you’re thinking on. It is weird. The sight should have been preserved and allow the public to see it first hand so we never forget what happened there, and remind us what our Government is capable of. I honestly don’t think Randy Weaver and his family were a threat to anyone. I also believe the Government was guilty of entrapment in this case. He didn’t approach them to saw off a shotgun, they approached him. You just gotta wonder why they did all this to his family?

    • @garyknepper4546
      @garyknepper4546 3 роки тому +6

      @@theamericanpatriot87 I also should say it is my belief that a lot of people in the area are still Leary of our Government. I think they just don’t trust people snooping around.

    The year I graduated from high school, I had a job splitting cedar fence posts west of Naples, Idaho. When you cross the bridge over Deep Creek, you come to a fork in the road. If you go left, the road takes you up Snow Creek where we were making posts. If you go right, you go up Ruby Creek. There was nobody living up there then. What they leave out of most of these accounts is that they were trying to get Randy Weaver to be an informant on the Trochmans, the people in Noxon, Montana, who started the Montana Militia. Trochman's wife was the midwife who delivered Randy Weaver's youngest daughter.

    It was absolute BS what happened to the Weaver's because of our backward government. My family owned a rustic cabin when I was a kid, where my father - who was a veteran - and owned a collection of guns, including from his service - used to train us how to shoot wild game. Well one day the law showed up, requesting his arms license, and questioning about us kids, and our guests, learning to shoot, though it was our alienable right. Explaining that one can't be 'too careful' with arms, considering some folks weren't authentic game hunters. I guess I understood where that officer was coming from with my folks. At least he was civil about it, when things could have gone differently.

    I feel that anytime people want to be connected to God the individuals in control want to take that away.
    Not a religion but a relationship connected to our creator!
    You see when people are connected their free.
    I don't want to be like everyone one else in order to be accepted but I want that divine attunement so I cannot be controlled by the manipulation of those who have power and are inslaving us.
    I won't belong to any religion because they want to box in our thinking. Freedom in Christ and staying connected is important because then one is truly free.
