I kinda go really hard on them, I'm getting good results, but I'm worried about long term balance issues. I'll do 400+reps from 90lb to 250ish. 100x 90lbs 15x for every plate all the way up, and back down, then 100×90lbs again. Let me know what you think.

There are always 'wrong' exercises, namely, those that are detrimental to your joints. The wrong knee- or shoulder exercise, for example can easily do more harm than good.
That breakdown of the different variations of the Bulgarian split squat was so comprehensible with the anatomy charts combined with showing the excersize. I now know that I need to prioritize split squats with the dumbell on the side I'm working. #weakhipsbegone
