We had the best day out on this island hopping trip! The Phu Quoc cable car was a surprising highlight and the waterpark was AMAZING! We had a great time in Phu Quoc snorkelling too - we highly recommend this tour!

If you mean summer in Vietnam (April to June), it's not a good time to visit Phu Quoc. There is so much rain T.T

Hi nice video. Would like to know if you have any issues with bringing your drone in Vietnam? Did you apply for some permit or not?

I contacted the office in Vietnam well in advance and got no response. I later found out that they had closed the office and no one was working there. Therefore, it was impossible to get a permit (when I was there). I was advised that, as this was the case, I did not need one but make sure to adhere to common sense rules (no flying near residential or near uninvolved people). Also, the office might now be open so make sure to check with droneblog.com for the information about contacting them.

The visibility wasn't very good for filming when we went. We did end up getting a lot of video under water but just wasn't good enough. It's much better if you go in the high season

We are going to Phu Quoc from December 27 to January 2. It's our first time. Any suggestions on things to do?

Definitely take the cable car to Pineapple Island and spend a day at the water park! Starfish Beach should be lovely at that time of year too and there are a few places like pepper farms, small wine factories and coconut prison that are interesting!
