- In this video, I take one for the team. I purchased this Magnasonic ultrasonic cleaner off of Amazon to test how effective it would be at cleaning some grimy guitar parts. Since I hate scrubbing of any sorts I figured it might be the lazy man's solution to this problem. Let's see how well this ultrasonic cleaner really works!

Great Video Tony! It really cleaned that bridge to a sparkle. Great for vintage parts!!
20 years ago my wife used to work at a place where they where selling huge units like these. It was big enough to be able to put an amp/home theater (obviouly not a Marshall) or a VHS player, etc. It was 2 feets deep and wide and 5 feets long. But for electronics you absolutely needed to use distilled water (never never tap water), and no soap nothing. They where selling these for 25k$ CDN.
Strings?
Ulrich Robert Musil that will also work
Yes, I'm pretty sure it would work. I clean strings in alcohol. They come out sounding like new after a day. I'd like to hear what this does in minutes.
When I was a struggling musician I used to boil my bass strings all of the time.
@@MrSouthofBoston yeah, you can do it. till the strings are dead.
@@MrSouthofBoston What fluid would you boil them in? How do you prevent rust?
Plus you can clean wife's jewelry
Homegrown Son that’s true too LOL
and glasses ...
