- Bird Name: The western capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus), also known as the wood grouse, heather cock, or just capercaillie. The song of males during mating consists of two parts: during the first part, the bird hears everything, and during the second part (called “turning”) the male does not hear anything around! In some countries, the bird is called "forest chicken" or "forest horse", for the sonorous "cok-cok" during the song.
The most famous "ritual" of capercaillie - mating games. This is a special behavior of males, as they attract a female: sing and jump. You can see it in April. Males fly to the current the night before, select “their” tree, spend the night on it, and at about 4 in the morning, before sunrise, they wake the forest with their songs. Other birds begin to sing only 15-20 minutes after the capercaillie.
Capercaillie - lovers of blueberries, lingonberries, branches of cotton grass. The favorite on this list is blueberries. In the cold season, the main diet is pine needles. Chicks eat in a variety of insects and spiders - protein foods. The grouse swallows pebbles, small stones on the roads with a special purpose: the stones in the stomach will work like a millstone and grind coarse pine needles.
Capercaillie is a sedentary bird and can be found in the lands at any time of the year. He lives in low-visited remote areas of the forest, leads a secretive, in a snowless period, mainly terrestrial way of life. Favorite biotopes in the northern regions of Belarus are pine forests, swampy pine forests, and pine-oak and spruce-oak forests in the south.
The person who scares broods, deforestation and pruning pine trees in areas of currents and nesting sites harms the grouse most of all.

Какая прекрасная птица ,Славен Аллах создавший такую прекрасную живую и не живую природу.Я бы отстреливал охотников так ради забавы чтобы навсегда у них отбить жилание охотится ради забавы.
