Not historically accurate if the intent of the actual pyramids in real life were to act as tombs for egyptian royalty as well as giant sundials, which is exactly what they were. Thrite here just used the shape and outer structure of them and made a living space inside in game. The two serve entirely different purposes and empty space in a structure designed for people living inside is arguably lazy. Maybe consider reading up on history a little more before spreading misinformation.
I love how complicated and empty parts of the pyramid are, it makes the build feel like a real tomb. Considering you died in there it kind of is a tomb
Looks epic! BTW. Since real piramids are basically graves it suits, that you died, and your body (if such a thing existed in mincraft) is in the piramid. So basically piramid is doing what it is suppose to do.
a beautiful base, but i cannot believe u did not invest a full 5+ hours working on an over-the-top throne room filled with unreachable amounts of rare materials at every corner
I know this parrots a lot of the other comments, but I genuinely love that you finished the build. I really enjoyed the series. I haven't enjoyed watching Minecraft content to this degree since like SMP Live and not much else since my childhood lol Thanks for the cool and silly vids my guy
Dude, I can't stop thinking how amazing would be like a Netflix series or movie in this scenario. Just imagine the adventures a group of friends explorings this pyramid secrets and misterys and the world all aroud that they though was unacessible because of how hot it is would be so cool.
Yo dude, you're so bright as a person. Watching you do your stuff really makes my bad shit go away. I'm happy that I've stumbled upon your channel a few months ago ❤
Wouldn't that cellar make for a cool water storage, if you made it look more like a cave it would've looked awesome. As for the empty spaces, the massive space could be filled with Lava (a great way to repell invaders and look absolutely dapper. As for things to do in rooms, a master bedroom, two or four smaller bedrooms, a kitchen, a study, a throne room, a display room, a library, a bathroom, guardrooms for golems, massive storage spaces, inside Gardens, maybe a Boudoir and a ton of fancy hallways and meeting rooms. Those are all examples of rooms to put in a palace. I like liminal spaces, but if you want a palace, those could be rooms to include. Either way, keep uploading, I love your content.
That's sooooooooooooooooooooo true. I had sexy sex time with my sexy girlfriend, but then my phone jumped up and screamed that Thrite just fucking posted, and I had to stop ejaculation processes so me and my sexy girlfriend could watch his new video and then my cat clapped and my father came to tell me he's proud his son (clarification: that's me) is subscribed to Thrite.
Thrite I just want to say, you have artistic potential/talent. I haven't seen anyone make these kind of builds. They feel nostalgic, liminal and unique. Your style of building just has this uniqueness to it and I'm here for it. The way you make the stairs, the way you make the layouts. The way you randomly stop what you're doing during your videos just to look at and admire a cool sight. To be fair/to keep this grounded and genuine, I do not think you have like the technical skills/practice like some other minecraft builders, which is totally fine, but your vision and design of things is really cool. It's like you're doing things based on your intuition - what feels right, instead of sticking to the safe "tried and true" practices (that are sometimes overused - eg. when people try to overdecorate and it ends up as block vomit (look it up)). You keep things symmetrical and shape/pattern based, while also making it complex/not boring. Sure I can look at a highly technical build of some castle and yeah it is cool, but your builds sometimes make me *feel*. I'm sure the shaders are also doing a lot of legwork, but seriously you achieve a unique feel with your builds which is like one of the best compliments an artist can get. I'm sure I'm repeating myself and my comment is probably hard to take seriously, so to wrap it up, just keep doing what you're doing and don't let the algorithm/subscriber/view counts control your creative vision (like getting stuck in the "can I survive x in minecraft" content (although it has been very enjoyable so far)).
Amazing base. It is so sad that you died, but honestly, I am somehow happy that you were able to use creative mod to finish it. It is better that way and for sure must have saved you a lot of time
1:40 That indeed does look cool as hell. It reminds me of the forge map called Sandbox from Halo 3 where you also travel vertically down underground into the huge chamber
Honestly, respect, thrite didn’t do the shitty “revival” thing and he built us the original pyramid plan. Most of the other UA-camrs wouldn’t have even bothered to do so.
The story of this world fits like one of those music videos. The main character survives in a harsh environment and perseveres, but then while they're just innocently crafting something, death comes for them suddenly, and their home becomes their tomb.
LIMINAL SPACE MAKES A COMEBACK!!! Dude the liminal space room is sick af, it's a shame u died before u could realise ur dreams here. Can't wait for the next series!!!
I took an art history class that had a section about pyramids. I love how they have a fake compartment at the very bottom since that's where mastabas typically had the dead. Pyramids instead housed the bodies in the center. I would love to build a pyramid with that tunnel going underground
idk why people hate losing their hardcore world and creators sometimes fake not losing them. IMO the best part about any MC world is the start so getting to do it sooner is just better content wise at least.
I greatly appreciated the final image showcasing just how empty the pyramids actually are. 10/10 also rad base build - I'm trying to also do a large base build on Creative and I think you just gave me a kick in the ass to try and finish it. (I did so much research on Ziggurats lmao)
Fill the big dark room with water and put glowing squids in it. Just for the flex. Also, it would be so cool to have this bridge over an ocean in the pyramid located in an endless desert. Maybe even build a small water pump system to create a waterfall.
Through this series, you've inspired me to build a pyramid of my own (someday), using a similar assortment of mods! Your vision was quite incredible, too!

Realy wish ya could've made it when ya were alive, glad you still finished it tho, I've never seen someone commit like that. looking forward to what comes next!
I genuinely would love it, if you continued the world but in survival, you base has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. The open/free spaces would be great for many different farms and custom sizing the farms and a lot more!
This gives off the vibe of your bother coming inti your room and asking if you want to see his minecraft world and then he shows you this! It looks so awesome!
This would be an INSANE survival mega base, well done Also that very last bit, and the sound effect as the red lines filled the irl pyramid had be ROLLING
Lets say, i watched a lot of your videos, and i will keep watching them!! I love to support you and watch your series. Cant wait for the next one. Love from The Netherlands!
This would be worth putting up for a buck or 2 on the mc marketplace. I’ve seen worse on there and it’s actually nice there’s so much empty space because you can really make it your own if you want
3:45 I had literally JUST viewed that image before watching this video and was going to mention it in the comments but apparently that fact was already known....
Most of the Egyptian pyramids aren't empty space! Outside the burial chamber itself, they're actually mostly elabourate networks of weaponized false corridors designed to deter, trap, and/or kill would-be grave robbers!
i really liked this miniseries and the base turned out pretty nice. Maybe something like this but cold-based in a Frostpunk vibe with a cold biome would be fun as well
Deer god, this is the most beautiful pyramid I've seen in my life. And I visited Chichen Itzá like... once XD (but fr I adore your pyramid design) Just found your channel, now I'm obsessed with it :D :3
the giant liminal space room would be a cool place to use as a giant water storage tank, it'd look even cooler as a giant pool and it'd have an actual function.
not lazy; historically accurate
failed succesfully
3:59 they're empty now cause thieves made it so
