Not the front entrance of the Police station but the back entrance where a Traffic Dept was in a corner inside the wall as there jobs was to pick up Cars, Motorcycle, Scooter's parked illegally on the road..this road leads at Bhavani Shankar Road. .a chawl was there . Both of them including a third brother was there too..They were wagri caste ( Banghie's) Sweepers cleaners of the garbage gathered around the society bldg ..a ruckus took place between a tenant as they used to also wash the vehicle's parked inside the Society bldgs, a payment was not given.So Palji the younger who had a defect in his right leg used to walk with a limp took out a rampuri & knifed the tenant. They were arrested as the Saitan Police Station was just 1 km from their residence..They were lodged in Arthur Road jail..when they came out on bail the local people feared them..so they started collecting protection money from the Marvadi Community as there were many money lenders who lended money on Gold, Brass vessels, Clothes or House hold commodities..especially metal made of Brass & Copper..most shops are still functioning till now. I knew them from the age of 20 yrs as our family had a Dry Cleaning Laundry at the corner of the bldg entering the back if Saitan Chowki Police Station. I won't go into details but Sir Mr Baljeet Parmarji should be able to narrative their story..I knew most goons in the Area...personnely as we also had scraps on the road with Soda bottles when someone used to show their ego..If Sir Baljeetji requires some episodes of them I will be most willing to share ..
