Well for goodness sake my dear just back from 4 weeks in Fuerteventura and catching up with your videos. What a delight love your hair with the undercut superb!!!!! Just made it back on Wednesday and to-day our airline is no longer flying there because of the coronovirus pandemic.I kid you not we were lucky to buy toilet rolls yesterday the world has gone mad!!!!. As always, love the way you style your hair! I think I am finally going to MAYBE see another stylist to try and get more of the look you have! I have the general cut but not the piecy-ness and texture you have which I know is so very important! Plus, my current stylist has not angled/tapered the bottom of the back of my hair to be closer to my head/neck the way I like. I am noT brave enough to do the undercut yet....maybe one day. This style is definitely a journey, both for you and your stylist! Having the right stylist is super important, especially because this style does require lots of texturizing and tweaking as everyone's preferences are different. I love using the Enjoy dry wax, I can go longer in between shampoos because it feels cleaner longer. I also realized I was putting the wax on my finger tips and not my palms, so I will adjust that too. I had a spray of the K-pak and it was awesome for bringing back moisture. Many great tips. I have been trying to mimic your haircut for a year now. It always ends up a little too short. What is the length of your hair at the crown? How long are your bangs?
Those are definitely tricky areas to get the length just right! I know I've had my stylist change these lengths a few times too😘 Let's see....it's been 3 weeks since my cut and my bangs are almost to the tip of my nose; at the crown, it's about 2.75 inches. Hopefully that will help!💖
Well you definitely have gotten more blonde highlights than your previous video’s, but it still looks good, I did try to get your previous look but ended up with your current look. But I am not using the styling products that you use so that maybe why I can’t get my hair to stand up more. Plus I don’t own a flatiron , so maybe I should look into getting one. I will try to send a picture of my haircut if I can figure how to do it. But will try to find the products you use also, or maybe something close to it.

I tried to get yours but it doesn’t look like yours. I have too many cowlicks and frizzy hair that won’t cooperate. I have product. I think mine was cut too short. My hairdresser says I have different hair than you. Any suggestions?

I too lived the 80's and a large part of the 90's with long hair...I don't miss those days!😉 And I totally agree with Richard, if your hairstylist won't give you the cut you are asking for and doesn't have a good reason not to, it might be time to find someone new. I know this is a bit more of a complicated cut so many hairdressers just aren't comfortable doing it. Hopefully you can find someone to give you the cut you want! 💕
Hello Sharalee, I've just recently took the plunge of having a undercut pixie cut with highlights done,but my stylist is having trouble with getting my highlights the lighter color of what I want and I also have dark brown hair color..Do u have any suggestions for accomplishing getting the highlights to the color that I want?She used a#30 level of bleach,but didn't put me under the dryer...But my hair is still in very good condition after having what highlights of the#30and she kept it on my hair for at least an hour...She was just trying to be cautious as to this was the first time of doing any kind of color to my hair..

I have a few random waves and cowlicks here and there. When my hair was long, it wasn’t enough to be able to “scrunch and go” but it was just enough that I had to straighten or curl it😘
So she said that she was going to wait a couple of weeks and then go back in and add try with some more of the bleach and I don't seem to have any extra volume from what she's already on my hair and usually I get extra volume and dryness from getting my hair highlighted but not this time?Could it be possible that she doesn't have the mixture of products mixed strong enough??Please help me with some kind of anwser
Hmmm....that is perplexing indeed! Sometimes, if the stylist uses a real heavy conditioner afterward, that can make the hair feel softer and less dry for a few days afterward. You may wait a few days and see. But if your highlights are not bright blonde, she probably needs to use a higher volume...30-40😊
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Sharalee she used a 30 volume,BUT did not put me under the dryer,and she didn't put hardly any conditioners on my hair at all at my request...But my hair is in excellent condition still even after having what highlights that she put in and it's been 5 weeks since and my hair is still soft and in good condition....Im not really happy with my results of the colors that I have!!!It's not what I asked for....

As always, love the way you style your hair! I think I am finally going to MAYBE see another stylist to try and get more of the look you have! I have the general cut but not the piecy-ness and texture you have which I know is so very important! Plus, my current stylist has not angled/tapered the bottom of the back of my hair to be closer to my head/neck the way I like. I am noT brave enough to do the undercut yet....maybe one day. This style is definitely a journey, both for you and your stylist! Having the right stylist is super important, especially because this style does require lots of texturizing and tweaking as everyone's preferences are different. I love using the Enjoy dry wax, I can go longer in between shampoos because it feels cleaner longer. I also realized I was putting the wax on my finger tips and not my palms, so I will adjust that too. I had a spray of the K-pak and it was awesome for bringing back moisture. Many great tips. My natural hair color is dark brown (level 5 ash brown) and my stylist uses volume 30-40 bleach to give me the highlights😘

I have been trying to mimic your haircut for a year now. It always ends up a little too short. What is the length of your hair at the crown? How long are your bangs?
Those are definitely tricky areas to get the length just right! I know I've had my stylist change these lengths a few times too😘 Let's see....it's been 3 weeks since my cut and my bangs are almost to the tip of my nose; at the crown, it's about 2.75 inches. Hopefully that will help!💖

Well you definitely have gotten more blonde highlights than your previous video’s, but it still looks good, I did try to get your previous look but ended up with your current look. But I am not using the styling products that you use so that maybe why I can’t get my hair to stand up more. Plus I don’t own a flatiron , so maybe I should look into getting one. I will try to send a picture of my haircut if I can figure how to do it. But will try to find the products you use also, or maybe something close to it.

I do think a flatiron is helpful and yes, the products do make a difference! It might take a little trial and error but you'll get there!!😘
I tried to get yours but it doesn’t look like yours. I have too many cowlicks and frizzy hair that won’t cooperate. I have product. I think mine was cut too short. My hairdresser says I have different hair than you. Any suggestions?

I too lived the 80's and a large part of the 90's with long hair...I don't miss those days!😉 And I totally agree with Richard, if your hairstylist won't give you the cut you are asking for and doesn't have a good reason not to, it might be time to find someone new. I know this is a bit more of a complicated cut so many hairdressers just aren't comfortable doing it. Hopefully you can find someone to give you the cut you want! 💕

It can weigh it down if you get too much. If your hair isn't overly dry, you can probably skip it altogether😊
Hello Sharalee, I've just recently took the plunge of having a undercut pixie cut with highlights done,but my stylist is having trouble with getting my highlights the lighter color of what I want and I also have dark brown hair color..Do u have any suggestions for accomplishing getting the highlights to the color that I want?She used a#30 level of bleach,but didn't put me under the dryer...But my hair is still in very good condition after having what highlights of the#30and she kept it on my hair for at least an hour...She was just trying to be cautious as to this was the first time of doing any kind of color to my hair..

I'll link it below. It may take a few tries to get the blonde as light as you want but sounds like your stylist is willing to work on it so that's good!😊

I have a few random waves and cowlicks here and there. When my hair was long, it wasn’t enough to be able to “scrunch and go” but it was just enough that I had to straighten or curl it😘

So she said that she was going to wait a couple of weeks and then go back in and add try with some more of the bleach and I don't seem to have any extra volume from what she's already on my hair and usually I get extra volume and dryness from getting my hair highlighted but not this time?Could it be possible that she doesn't have the mixture of products mixed strong enough??Please help me with some kind of anwser
Hmmm....that is perplexing indeed! Sometimes, if the stylist uses a real heavy conditioner afterward, that can make the hair feel softer and less dry for a few days afterward. You may wait a few days and see. But if your highlights are not bright blonde, she probably needs to use a higher volume...30-40😊
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Sharalee she used a 30 volume,BUT did not put me under the dryer,and she didn't put hardly any conditioners on my hair at all at my request...But my hair is in excellent condition still even after having what highlights that she put in and it's been 5 weeks since and my hair is still soft and in good condition....Im not really happy with my results of the colors that I have!!!It's not what I asked for....
I like the cut very much but would prefer the top to be smooth rather than spiked.
