- Prince George and his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended the England vs Wales Six Nations match today at Twickenham. The royal couple are patrons of the Welsh Rugby Union and the Rugby Football Union respectively.

I love how the Duchess gives her full attention to the welcoming committee and then just before entering the building turns and gives a smile and wave to the people. She does this every time and it is so classy. It shows she isn't looking for attention but is respectful towards the people who have come to see her.

my thoughts for what ever it is worth. the three representatives of the Cambridges from the Mountbatten linages represented her royal Majesty the Queen
prince william wore the the thinning of the hair of the mountbatten linage. a regal legacy to grandfather prince philip. the heir apparent prince george is a youngster and acts like one being groomed for a kingship in due time. and cate of the middleton linage does her job as a royal.
my speculation is that the queen will out live her son prince charles. or should charles and camilla take role of king and queen it will be a very short reign and prince William and duchess Catherine become king and queen and prince george will carry on the monarchy. god save the queen and this monarchy.

How hard it is for any child to wait whilst parents talk to adults when your on a day out, no difference for Princes or paupers. I do feel for young Princes and Princesses having the press around at these times, but I loved the gentle support given to Prince George by initially Prince William during the meeting of dignitaries by a tap on his back, checking he’s ok and then Catherine Duchess Cambridge after the national anthem.
Tassie Girl yeah... And in the beginning Prince William ruffled or stroked his hair then put a gentle hand on his then Catherine's back for loving reassurance. They are such a wonderful family, not seeking the limelight or cameras, they know they have to stand so much for photographs, do it with dignity, are polite to all they meet. @@ericduffield524 Eric, yes indeed Prince William learned several languages. He would have always learnt Welsh because of course he will become The Prince of Wales once Charles becomes King. William speaks fluent French, German, Welsh, Gaelic, Spanish. He can even converse in Swahili- having taught himself the language during his time at university.

I love how Catherine turns and waves to the crowd. From the beginning at her entrance on their wedding day, she often remembers to do that and it’s just a nice, warm touch to whatever outing their on. People have probably waited awhile just to see them get out of the car!

This is NOT "Prince George attends Official Engagement accompanied by parents."
This is "Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend a function, accompanied by their son George."
What you are doing might SEEM to be saying the same thing i.e. it says that they were all present.
But your twist "George attended official engagement" and "parents joined him".. "Such a good idea."
Have you REALLY thought this through?
Do you REALLY think that nine-year-old George was present as an official guest...... and that the Heir to the Throne was accompanying him?

One thing is true here.

The use of the little word "because" turns the statement into a terrible lie
The facts
Archie is mixed race.
Archie became the Earl of Dumbarton on the day he was born. This is his title.
Archie is not "Prince" Archie......like the Queen's other grandchildren and great-grandchildren who are not princes or princesses, Peter, Zara, Louise, James, Savannah, Isla, Mia, Lena, Whatsisname, Siena and August.
But understand that the linking of two ideas- "no title" and "mixed race" by the word "because" gives an interpretation that puts the Monarchy in a really bad light.
YOUR misinterpretation that Prince George is attending an Official Engagement accompanied and supported by his parents is EQUALLY FALSE but not malicious. THEY are attending, and have taken George along with them.

My father was a diplomat and I vividly still can remember how "boring" it was to meet, greet and mingle with the adults when I was his age. The need to pay attention to the Q&As and be proper at all times was excruciating, to say the least. But I guess that is how you learn to be a diplomat and maintain diplomacy...something that I never forgot. Prince George has the BEST tutors and they will help him navigate those "turbulent" waters. Hang in there George it does get easier.
For George it's a good grounding for what to expect as he grows up.

Most children once in a while have to attend formal occasion with parents. It is super boring but yeah, a good training for basic etiquette and useful for life ahead.

Apparently you never went to school in the UK. I did. I, I repeat I, refused to sing it because I was brought up to point out the fact that I was neither a peon, serf, or "subject" of some German seld-appointrd family.
What I liked was William using this as a teaching moment for his son encouraging him to shake hands but being right behind him to support him
Loved seeing them sing and even George singing God save our queen.. Something especially important to them as grandmother and great grandmother.
There he was learning royal duties supported by his parents who also sang the the welsh National Anthem. They are such assets to the Royal family and involving and guiding George on what to do at a young age. I think George is looking a lot like his dad now

He’s definitely shy and reserved but that’s not such a bad thing. His great great grandfather George VI was quite shy himself and had a stutter but he turned out to be a great leader and king when his brother abdicated the throne despite being shy and having a stutter. Prince George will definitely adjust to everything more as he grows older. It’s good to see Kate and Will taking him out on more public outings.
