To me every moment watching Khamzat is electrifying. Beyond his obviously insane talent and drive, he has a special glimmer and charisma about him. He’s a star.
I have a feeling this guy is going right up the rankings.
Him vs the winner of colby Kamara will happen in 2022 mark my words!
if he beats leech who is ranked 12 , then he will slot straight into the top 10
idk. I had that feeling the 1st time he came into the UFC. Still don't know how much he's compromised from the flu.
I saw his recent interview and he doesn't look as motivated.
Crossing my fingers that he's still the entertaining smashing machine he previously was.
Would be great to see him get the belt and defend it twice in 7 days.
I think he's overrated
This dude said he'll smash the welterweight champion and light heavyweight champion in the same night.
I believe him.

You believe he’d smash usman after winning against 3 nobodies? He’s got potential but he hasn’t even fought a top 5 lmao
@@robertgalaway8760 It's the way he beats them. Total domination. Chimaev hasn't lost a single round in his last ten fights, much less even get touched by his opponents. The last guy Chimaev fought couldn't even touch him. Usman fought the same two guys in his last 5 fights.

This guy is lethal.
UFC Just announced him vs whittaker
And Whittaker is a great fighter but if I had to put my money, Im putting on Khamzat
Would love to see how Khamzat's wrestling and grappling stacks up to the likes of Usman, Colby, and Burns.
@Ivey 96 Usman has had 23 Attempts from 5 different opponents and has defended every single takedown. His grappling has def been tested.
@Peter Griffin Stop it. Khamzat in a recent interview just said and I quote "Colby and Usman are the same fighter. They have little bit wrestling, little bit striking. But nothing special." Those are his words, he wants that challenge. So don't act like anyone is rushing him.

2:12 look at his leg movement when he’s shooting for his takedown. Even after he’s picked up his opponent his legs are still gliding into position smoothly and effortlessly. Almost like they were levitating lol great foot work

Khazmat has got that drive that you only see in a select few fighters, it's like he's hungry and emotions, remorse and mercy are non-existent, just brutal instinct to win by any means. Its almost like its not a sport to them but a fight to the death. I've been watching mma for years but an instance I can recall when I noticed that same drive was with Khabib when he fought Conor McGregor, literally made him into a shell of what he thought he was. Was crazy. Khazmat will be champ one day
"Michael, are you going with Khamzat or Chimaev for this one?"

That's what I noticed with Chechens. Maybe its cause of their religion. Or culture. And let everything happen in the octagon. Makes me love the sport tbh
@@Fozykeno it is kinda their religion, these fighters are really religious people which is probably why they're really respectful.
Khamzat would've been in his element back in the times of MMA tournaments, with multiple fights in a day
He said what he'll do and he did what he said, very impressive.

I love that Khamzat Chimaev understands how to have Exciting entertaining fights. He has all the skills to be champion, his striking is so fast, crisp, accurate, powerful and insane velocity. As well as insane wrestling and submissions and ground and pound. He doesn't have easy fights, he is always focused on inflicting damage. He is not a boring wrestler. He's really the full MMA fighter. He can achieve so much. I can't wait to see. The UFC needs to get moving quicker after this Burns fight. Khamzat Chimaev is itching to stay active and he deserves it and the UFC should soak that up because he will compete way more then 3 times a year. That's way too slow for Chimaev. So let him get his momentum and flow with it, don't hold him back. Let's see what his potential is. I see great things.
