I am so in love with the Newsboys! They are totally awesome and inspirational! I have never been to one of their concerts but it is one of my ultimate wishes. This song just so happens to be one of my favorites. God bless you Newsboys! P.S. I just adore Peter Furler!
Peter Furler is the only person I have EVER seen that actually looks like he's singing in a music video. He also seems to have the weirdest (might I say, "quirkiest"?) music videos ever
These are the guys who Slattery a.k.a. Something Shiny and I met at the Crown & Anchor bar in Monterey, CA. We got VIP backstage passes to Spirit West and saw them put on an incredible show. Also like their new song Wherever We Go and the live version of their classic, Shine. Very nice fellows to a couple of old soldiers like us.
i love the intro....so heart lifting...just the music is annointed thats why i love christian music...even without the words you can feel the annointing
I think it mainly focuses on the balloons and if you cut your burdens e.g. the strings you'll go higher and farther in your life, like with a balloon. : )
This is a so much better quality video than what I've seen before. UA-cam makes it so much better than like back in the Kazaa days hehe. Thanks for the upload, great song!
When he says "by" in the phrase "you're barely gettin by"at about 1:30 I could SO imagine Tait doing that. Their singing style is pretty similar (minus accent). Also, their voices aren't that far apart either, I don't think.

Newsboys are a really great band, encouraging lyrics (sometimes witty) and such diversity in their musical style... Listening to their music from 1988 to 2009, it's like listening to 10 different bands! Of course the Newsboys were a revolving cast of characters. Check out wikipidia of all the different members through the years. I'm most familiar with them in 1991.
