Enjoying your vids mate, when a transom is rebuilt I would resin soak both sides of the ply and also put a layer of chop on each side after the reson soak has slightly cured beforte bonding to the transom, gives you much better water proofing. Also add some fumed silica (cabosil) to your resion putty, it stops the putty sagging and keeps it in place. I will say you are pretty fast with your work and achive a lot in a day, there's a lot to be said for maximising fishing time, cheers..

Is this a sea going fishing boat? Hopefully not too late, but I would highly recommend a splashwell.

Going to be doing this to my Wilson flyer this year, do you have a list of all the materials needed? Thanks!

You'll need, marine ply to suit your required thickness I used 2x 18mm cut from 1 full sheet and 1x 12mm, polyester resin with hardener I mixed at 2%, 450gsm chop strand, dual weave, colloidal silica, loose chop strands and some screws. I'm doing the whole boat so have bought everything in large quantities. Good luck 👍
