Very good points , i also had another trick, after we had a Grammer lesson I always searched and watched related lessons of there day or many times that week here during my B1 Deutsch course (reflexiv Verbs , connectors , ) , during my A1 and A2 i didn't need to take any notes at all in the class because I saw the everything you need to know in A1 and A2 level video here here and I wrote many pages of notes form that videos

What a great utility video, I love it. If you don't understand your own notes, what good are they? Also love the point about questions - be confident in your confusion/curiosity, noone should get upset at you for reflecting on what you're hearing. If any teacher ever does, they're an idiot (but few ever do).
Just to add: The internet is full of people sharing their scrapbooks and organizers. No need to fully fall down the rabbit hole (not that helpful either), but if you're not very good at structuring notes, it's easier than ever to get inspiration, provided you really reflect on why you would want to sort things a certain way.

I like the two notebook system and i prefer free page notebooks like a three ring binder, and one notebook for verb conjugation, one for Wortschatz and one for general notes and grammar so you are not trying to go through 100 pages looking for the conjugation of “ sein”. I find that German note taking can be done in a word or Excel or Word, but math and chemistry require paper note taking with all the formulas and diagrams😊😊😊😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
For a lot of my classes (in college) I used a small dedicated audio recorder to record what the teacher was saying. I can’t really write(fast enough and it hurts my hand) and listen/comprehend, so whatever the teacher wrote on the board I just took a photo with my phone. That way I could fully immerse myself in what the teacher was saying instead of worrying about keeping up with writing down whatever is being said or written. Then afterwards, in the comfort of my home/library , I could write down my notes.

I recently implemented this technique in my first ever German course. It's nice so far. What really got me was the point about the info hitting your brain 7times before your head hits the pillow.
It is a game changer for sure.
