I'm finally glad someone is saying what I was thinking xD a blitz who waits behind the wave unmoving and just going to move, hook and knock up will have a similar apm
The problem is that it takes considerably less work to play Yummi correctly. Not to mention she doesn't have the same inherent weaknesses as similar Champs, meaning her play style won't translate well to those Champs. If you start league, playing Yumi and try to move to a different enchanter like Sona, you practically have to learn how to play the same role all over again. On no way is that healthy design.
@@user-gm4kv2my4u During laning phase, i'm hardly on my adc and playing hyper aggressive, it gets me a great kda, Her passive makes her great for trades
Yuumi has a voice line when she attacks towers that goes something like “take that you stack of rocks! Hiss!” And once when I was playing her all I heard was the hiss and I thought she just loudly proclaimed PISS while attacking a tower
Memes aside I think yuumi has a place in game and here is why. I have friends that just started playing league and 90% of the time they see colorful flashes on the screen and then they die. Playing yuumi has helped them learn the game while also participating in some way. And a lot of them in fact moved on to mechanically harder champions. But the steep learning curve of the game was made just a little easier for them with this champ.
I used to play a lot of yuumi when I started league because I played with my high silver/low gold friends and I literally just started so most games I had terrible kda and I felt kinda bad for making them lose most games, eventually I started playing yuumi and I felt much more comfortable playing with my friends, even in ranked since I could still be very useful to them even though I was much worse at the game I don't play yuumi anymore but the champ has a special place in my heart, if only she was only enabled in normal games maybe she would be a healthier champ
For me, Yuumi is a comfort champion - playing around vision, helping adc and jng, while not engaging in the game too much is the league experience I need, when I don't feel good.
It's a shame because the concept for a "Do Nothing" observer champion like what Yuumi is supposed to be could be god-like. Played Heroes of the Storm and a character very similar to this but executed immensely differently is Abathur. Abathur has two modes: 1) A slow, yet teleporting no fighting form for maneuvering the map and setting traps for both vision and area control. 2) An immobile form that transfers it's Symbiotic Augmentations to allies and minions which adds extra attacks to aid in fights and shielding for support. This alone is leagues more interesting as you're essentially an overseer. A force that must eye every square inch of the map and maintain awareness of everything from which ally is fighting to where needs vision/traps even down to one of his two ultimates to choose from; A) A giant sieging minion that you can take control of to act as a threat to objectives B) Replicating an ally champion for teamfighting. Yuumi looks like it's trying to be that. A cat that hops from ally to ally like how it's book hops her from place to place. Passing Heals, Shields and Poking. But the difference is that Heroes is a very universal contribution game that allows this type to exist. Abathur won't take exp because everyone shares levels. Yuumi jumps on a Jungler or Solo-laner for too long and suddenly there's level differences. She's very slow without an ally to hug and can't move around the map in any way because that would completely flip the script on what type of MOBA League is.
As somebody who likes low APM champions I can say that while champs with high APM are difficult, not all champs with low APM are simple or easy. Champs like Xerath, Twisted Fate, Thresh or Ivern are all low APM with a high skill ceiling. Skooch needs to take this one step further and needs to play a game of yuumi without using a monitor to look at the game, and rely on his duo to tell him when to press keys. If you can win a game like that, it would be hands down undeniable evidence. (I do think Yuumi is cancerous and ruins games, I'm not trying to defend anything.)
The actual skill came from lowering Yuumi's APM

Yuumi has a voice line when she attacks towers that goes something like “take that you stack of rocks! Hiss!” And once when I was playing her all I heard was the hiss and I thought she just loudly proclaimed PISS while attacking a tower
With the amount of fun you seem to have playing LoL I should definitely start watching your live streams.
"I'd be the goblin that hides beneath the stairs that makes people pay a toll in order to progress" so.. the treasurer
I used to play a lot of yuumi when I started league because I played with my high silver/low gold friends and I literally just started so most games I had terrible kda and I felt kinda bad for making them lose most games, eventually I started playing yuumi and I felt much more comfortable playing with my friends, even in ranked since I could still be very useful to them even though I was much worse at the game
I don't play yuumi anymore but the champ has a special place in my heart, if only she was only enabled in normal games maybe she would be a healthier champ
@skooch WOO OCANHA AND OTHERS GOT THE MAD PROPS! THANK YOU SKOOCH AND EVERYONE FOR THE WONDERFULLY INSIGHTFUL VIDEO!
loving the more frecuent vids man
thanks videogame-funny man
Don't mess with us Yuumi mains,we clean our rooms during matches
If the Yuumi fanclub had a president you could call me John Milkes Booth for what I would do
"Unless... there's something else..."
Yuumi carry video when?
Dude awesome vid, this was a great watch
I hate it when content creators say "WE GOT ANOTHER BANGER OF A VIDEO" but your videos are legit bangers lmfao
yuumi is the champion you play when your friends want to play league but you don't
and honestly i'm thankful for it
For me, Yuumi is a comfort champion - playing around vision, helping adc and jng, while not engaging in the game too much is the league experience I need, when I don't feel good.
A nice cup of coffee and watching Skooch is the best XD Keep it up man
It's a shame because the concept for a "Do Nothing" observer champion like what Yuumi is supposed to be could be god-like. Played Heroes of the Storm and a character very similar to this but executed immensely differently is Abathur.
Abathur has two modes:
1) A slow, yet teleporting no fighting form for maneuvering the map and setting traps for both vision and area control.
2) An immobile form that transfers it's Symbiotic Augmentations to allies and minions which adds extra attacks to aid in fights and shielding for support.
This alone is leagues more interesting as you're essentially an overseer. A force that must eye every square inch of the map and maintain awareness of everything from which ally is fighting to where needs vision/traps even down to one of his two ultimates to choose from;
A) A giant sieging minion that you can take control of to act as a threat to objectives
B) Replicating an ally champion for teamfighting.
The dedication this mans puts into his videos is the reason I'm subscribed, love it
Skooch's face superimposed over Forsen is not something I thought I was going to see today but here we are.
I think the funniest thing is that the 'secret' is levelling W first or second.
When most Yuumi's hard alternate W and E and leave Q at one point.
Giga-chad Skooch- plays Yuumi to hate her more accurately
i didnt expect my boy ap regnar to get a mention im now invested in the video
missed opportunity to sing "Every step you take" from the police when explaining APM....
I love the way you speak Skooch
As somebody who likes low APM champions I can say that while champs with high APM are difficult, not all champs with low APM are simple or easy. Champs like Xerath, Twisted Fate, Thresh or Ivern are all low APM with a high skill ceiling.
Skooch needs to take this one step further and needs to play a game of yuumi without using a monitor to look at the game, and rely on his duo to tell him when to press keys. If you can win a game like that, it would be hands down undeniable evidence.
(I do think Yuumi is cancerous and ruins games, I'm not trying to defend anything.)
oh and skooch totally deserves to be a caster this mans an absolute riot
*get it?*
