Im getting ready to open a business and all I can think about is that business. I achieve my 5 daily prayers alhumdulillah but I do find that as a convert I still struggle with "FEELING" the words as I say them, English being my only language. Im sure this is keeping me disconnected with my prayer more than Id like :( I study Islam everyday and read Quran, I prayer for guidance...just cant seem to find the Khushoo... :(
Same here with not understand Arabic, And I haven't watched the video yet, But when I pray I pray at rate that's not fast, so I hear the words coming out, At the same time in my head I think of Allah, his names! So I don't get distracted, But aswell, I make it so it's meaningful and feel it in my heart... Verily Allah understands and knows everything... Hopefully he will make you feel that love with him :)
try less prayers perhaps just concentrate on fard but take your time even with wudu. don't rush any aspect. if salah is done in a hurry then you can never achieve kashoo. my view is less is more. quality and not quantity.
