I can only say that the consumption of a hybrid car with a large 2kw battery is strange. I took it from the dealership with 175 km of range, I have driven it about 20km home and it shows 169 km of range xD
I can see 1st gear start at 40 km/h, 2nd gears starts at 60km/h and 3st gear starts at 80km/h going 2.500 rpm at 105 km/h and 3.000 rpm at 125 km/h, well not bad, looks like 100cv car performance. Apparently if you practice efficient driving, the electric motor maintains 100% between 0-70km/h and the combustion engine would enter the acceleration case
My friend bought one of these and I drove it the last week. I daily drive a Fiesta 1.0 MHEV with 125hp, and I can tell you that they feel very similar in terms of power. The engine feels a bit more powerful on the MG but then it takes too much time to change gears (in my opinion). In the other hand the Fiesta is faster between 0-50km/h.
@@JuanDomingoMartin Tengo un BMW Serie 1 2.0 de 170cv y noto mucho mas rápida la aceleración del MG ZS. Ya que el motor electrico tiene mas par motor. Pero bueno, pronto saldré de dudas porque la semana que viene estreno uno ;) Sobre el cambio de marchas, solo tiene 3, así que... no tiene importancia que este sea lento, va a ser rápido, ya que tiene la mitad de marchas que un vehículo de combustión tradicional
@@ikemenbcn24Disfrútalo! Yo como te comento no le noto demasiada diferencia respecto al mío. Entiendo que teniendo 125cv y los otros 15cv eléctricos ayudan a un empujón más instantáneo de par. También hay que tener en cuenta que el Fiesta está por debajo de los 1200kg. Sobre el cambio de marchas yo si te soy sincero no soy especialmente fan, me pareció un poco torpe algunas veces a la hora de elegir qué marcha meter, y otras en autovía que se queda un rato pensando. No se, simplemente se me hace ya un poco anticuado el concepto de un cambio automático de 3 marchas casi en 2025. Pero como todo, para gustos colores. Me parece un coche muy agradable de conducir tranquilamente. Un saludo!
@@JuanDomingoMartin La microhibridación debe ayudar al arrancar desde parado, seguro que tiene un buen acelerón. El ZS pesa casi 300kg mas, 40 cm mas de largo y 8 cm de ancho, y aun así le saca casi 1 segundo de 0-100. Este nuevo concepto yo lo veo un gran avance, para nada anticuado. Como comenté antes, el coche es 100% electrico hasta que alcanza los 40km/h. Luego según la demanda de empuje engrana la primera marcha. Por autovía debe ir tirando del motor de combustión plenamente en 3ra. No necesita mas velocidades porque la 1ra es como si fuera una tercera y porque tiene 250 nm instantáneos de par motor eléctrico para ayudar al motor de combustión hasta alcanzar velocidad de crucero
After refueling, it said you have 457km of range, with 292km travelled. At the end of the video, it said you have 431km range (-26km) with 312km travelled (+20km). If it is 40 liters for 457km, that is an average of 8.7l / 100km, so not very good really.

Not so bad Video, but more information of consumption needed ..... for me consumption is to high! A TOYOTA Hybrid, in this case a RAV4, wit ease reach 4.x/100km. My old Prius, 2004, reach with ease 3,9 to 4,7L/100km. But, not so bad MG! Better than VW and all others! Greets

The instrument cluster is illegible. The information is arranged in an unergonomic way. Chinese cars are toys, like electronic gadgets on Temu. It is definitely better to choose a European car. Even more modestly equipped.
