Using Wire with the WRD Orange Bat… PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!

DISCLAIMER!! THIS IS NOT A WRD APPROVED USAGE OF THE ORANGE BAT. The Orange Bat was designed for use with fiber cutting lines. Now that that’s out of the way. I greatly dislike a number of the wire use cutting tools out there. I like the ease and operation of the Orange Bat and Orange Bat QC. So I decided to test an idea I had with my backup Orange Bat and it worked great for saving the windshield. The process is straightforward and I go over it in this video. Use this method at your own risk and use all your protective equipment.

How did u set the 2nd wire on it up? Did u have to poke the wire feeder through again after feeding it round?

I cut the bottom loose with an express knife (extractor) and then use a bone between the glass and the pinchweld to create a gap to feed the wire through. If you’re not trying to save the glass you can use the feeder to just push and/or pull it through.
