This contains important visual events including launch, Hubble Space Telescope (HST) capture, repair and re-deployment, onboard activities, earth views, and landing. Also included is the air-to-ground transmission between the crew and Mission Control.

What a great job they did! 30 years later HST is still providing us with magnificent pictures of stars, galaxies, nebulae and supernovae showing us how beautiful nature is. I doubt JWST can ever break this record!

Fun fact: Footage from one of the EVA's conducted during STS-61 was used as part of the Fremantle International closing logo in 1994.

I don't like night launches, we don't see anything. There is probably a reason but I prefer to watch the launch during the day and with good "binoculars" to the cameras
