Men we have the power! No ring, no proposal, no wedding, no kids. The family court system needs to be reformed. Do you want to lose half or more of everything? Think about it, long and hard. Marriage is not worth the mental, emotional and financial risk. Spread the message, tell every man you know. Stay safe!
No kids? Then keep it in your pants, gentlemen. It takes two to make a baby. At least that way, if you never sleep with her and she turns up preggers and tries to say you're the dad, you can legit laugh at her and walk away.
Men are leaving, not only this country but the WEST as a whole. The tax base is running away. The unfair laws MUST change. The Government has NO CHOICE.
N, that's the main thing. Trust me, the government is about money. Men ain't marrying or having kids. Now who puts money into the custody or child support system. On top of that by 40 n 60 that billions of spending money ends up in Thailand
Truth is that's the only reason why they care, because Single Men don't spend a lot of money so they don't pay a boatload of taxes, married men and women are the tax base so now that the politicians arent getting that paycheck they want things to change
Yea, after he vetoed the change once before and Rick Scott vetoed the change twice. Why did they change their mind? I think it is because many women are making more money than men and they are now getting caught up in the lifetime alimony racket. As long as it was the men that were getting fucked that was fine, but when it started to affect women we have to change the law.
Yeah, unfortunately there are those who still believe in fairy tales. Alimony is only a tip of the iceberg. The juice is on unfair child custody, exaggerated child benefits, stress, drama, perpetual mental health patients, immaturity, loss of assets, career killing, spending uncontrollably, and I'm tired of listing. I hope you get the filthy idea that modern marriage is.
My ex-wife snickered during her saying of the marriage vows at the altar. I should have walk out that very moment. The marriage lasted less than three years. I still remember it and that was over two decades ago. I have been happily unmarried since then. I have witnessed too many men being bankrupted spiritually, psychologically and financially. I do not see the downward trend of marriage changing any time soon.
My marriage lasted 2 years. My wife got mad at me, when I replaced all the windows in the house. Red Flag. She was planning to leave me. That was her money in her head.
They should have changed that law a long time ago I have seen situations where a woman refused to marry her new man because she didn't want to give up the alimony she was getting from her ex .
My buddy was going to marry a school teacher, but she would not marry him because she was getting alimony from her terminally ill cancer-stricken husband. She wanted to suck every dollar out of him until he died.
Here is what the Bible says about marriage. Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Good for Ron DeSantis for ending alimony because we know it's mostly women who initiates the divorce anyway and they should not be rewarded for their bad behavior and not making their marriage work! They just wanted their magical day to feel like a Queen and to take a man's resources rather he is married to her or divorced!
Yeah the law states you get alimony for equal to or less than the time of the marriage. So no more 5 year marriages leading to permanent pensio--I mean alimony
I've been a single father for twelve years and run my own business...by myself. Sorry, cleaning the house is easy and fast and no problem at all. I work ten hours, seven days a week. Keeping the house in order is literally the easiest thing on the damn planet.
They better not be mad, after years of men getting railroaded behind divorces, they need to sit down. Mandatory paternity tests at birth need to be on the ballot next
They are changing the laws because they see a downfall ahead. They don't really care about fairness. Big ups to all of the men who stood up, the content creators, etc. Hold the line and keep it Icy fellas. Your grandsons may have it better than us.
Speaking of vows, my XW insisted on changing our wedding vows so we both promised to "Love, Honor, and Cherish", rather than her promising to " Love, Honor and Obey " because she claimed she wouldn't make any vows she couldn't keep. Not that that stopped her from breaking some of the rest. I should have walked out of premarital counseling right then, after saying, "I am going to need that ring back."
Classic. These LITTLE signs, we were too young and naive to pick up the signs. No surprise she’s an XW, I’m sure she wanted to make all the decisions too huh?
Whenever a woman calls me a narcissist, I always ask her what medical school did she go to toget her doctorate in psychology. Because to call a person a 'narcissist' is a medical diagnosis that can only be made by a psychologist. Just as I can't call a random person a cancer patient. A doctor can only call that, based on research of the patient's body.
@@Victorious-gx9ur Not necessarily. Women continously call men narcissists if they have standards and boundaries. They call men that if they don't agree with their viewpoints. Women use other words use other words like "mysoginist", "patriarchy", and "insecure" to describe a man who doesn't co-sign to their feelings. Just because someone says you are something, it doesn't always mean it's true. You should listen to a woman if she is being sensible. But if she is spouting of nonsense, it's best to ignore her and keep moving.
@seeemwalk4203 One thing I know is that most narcissists are not going to admit it, and many projects onto others. Also, if more than one person says something about you, you may need to do some introspection.
@@Victorious-gx9ur Let's test that theory. Answer these 3 questions: How many men in your life have called you "crazy"? How many men have said that when you exert yourself verbally that "it must be your time of the month"? Was it true?

And these are the days of our lives.....when pride is more important than keeping a family together, not ruining children, and both parties lives overall.

Kevin Samuels (RIP) once had a woman on his show who was planning to make, literally, $1 million per year off the social work clinic she was planning to start. When he asked her how much a man had to be making, she said $80,000 per year. When asked what percentage of the household bills she would take responsibility for, she said TEN PERCENT. Let that sink in. This $1 million a year wannabe was willing to pay, basically, the cable and water bill and put everything else on the $80,000 a year salary earner making more than 10X less. Said it with a straight face, too. “His money is OUR money but my money is MY money” is a very real and widespread attitude. But no worries…the $50,000/year guys are widely considered “broke and dusty” by women who don’t make as much, let alone a $150,000 sista. She’s NOT dealing with him in the first place. That’s why he’s (increasingly) waiting for his Passport to arrive and planning his departure🤷🏾
DeSantis got a W on this one, even though he's a clown. When I heard this bill was in the works I thought it was a joke, but now it's official, wow. Serita is completely right, I've heard this same thing from my former pastor. When she would conduct premarital sessions, she said that it was ALWAYS the women who wanted custom vows and would tell her what to take out of the traditional vows. However, 3-5 yrs later, she'll get a frustrated call or visit from the wife that she needs prayer because she's about to serve divorce papers. When the pastor would ask them why, the said-wife would say, (from the pastor mouth): BECAUSE HE DOESN'T DO WHAT I SAY AND I'M NOT HAPPY ANYMORE.
It's not a "W", it's DQ. DeSantis VETOED this same bill 3 times before. Florida is the largest of just six states that _Had_ permanent alimony. Now, the only states that allow permanent alimony are Connecticut, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Vermont, and West Virginia.
This woman said: "She is making $150,000.00 and her man is making $50,000.00 they are going to live off the 50 because her money is inconsequential in the relationship".....What kind of selfish woman is that?
I left my first marriage, and boy, did I have to pay for my peace of mind! I am remarried now and oh what a difference it makes when you marry someone who is raised to be a help meet!
Continue deluding yourself until your next divorce. You will understand how a woman can switch when she does not love you and you don't matter to her anymore. I can never understand how a human being can make the same grave mistake twice.
It’s always funny how they are “his children” when it comes to taking care of them but when it comes to divorce, they’re her children and the kids “need their mother.”
Imagine how many men who have taken their own lives over this permanent alimony. Now imagine that guy, some ex, who had taken his own life just a week earlier before this law or that ex who had enough and was just about to take his but now changed his mind hoping it would apply to them
No worries laydeez. I live a peaceful, quiet life of abstinence. Cook my own food, clean my own house, do my own laundry and pay my own bills. It's worked for me for almost 30 years now. Strong and independent? That's me. No sociopathic wife = happy life.
No, this is bs. The reason why men do not initiate divorce as much as women is because they know they will lose their children. I spent over 80k to fight for custody of my child. I was ordered to pay both my lawyer and her lawyer, so the longer i fought, the more it cost me to pay both lawyers. In the end, i was granted 50/50 custody. That does not mean i get my child half the time. I was still only able to see my son every other weekend, which is 4 days a month. What it means is each party pays their share of child support. I had to pay 65 percent and my ex wife had to pay 35 percent based upon both our incomes. Otherwise, how would 50/50 custody work? Lets say my son is enrolled in school, which he was. Do you really think it means he goes to that school for a week and then comes to my house and goes to school for a week? Nope. I ended up having to pay 1000.00 per month in child support and 3k per month in spousal support. So reason number 1 as to why men don't file is the loss of their children, it not only broke my heart but it also broke my son's heart. Reason number 2, losing everything you have worked for. I lost close to a million in my divorce. By the time the lawyers were done, they had the majority of everything we had built together. I lost my house, my motorcycle, all my furniture and my truck. Then as i am being told i have to pay all this money out to the lawyers, to her, to support payments, i had to face being homeless. Why? Because they had locked the accounts that she had drained most of the money out of. How exacrly am i supposed to pay first, last and deposit when all my accounts are locked? Next, all the money i had to pay out. Now, do all of you want to know what caused my divorce? My ex wife was having an affair with a married man. Why? In her own words, she was bored. This isn't how she saw her life going. She couldn't put her finger on it but something was missing. There was no abuse, i didn't cheat and her only real complaint was i worked too much. At the time we divorced, i was making 180k per year and worked about 32 hours a week. Outside of that, i had about a one hour commute, to and from work. Don't get me wrong, the divorce is the best gift my ex wife ever gave me. I hated missing my children but i am so glad to be rid of her toxic and lazy lump of fat. It's now going on 14 years since the divorce and i have fully recovered financially. Everything i lost has been replaced. I now have a bigger house and it's paid off. I own my own shop now and it's paid off. I have a great crew of men and a manager that runs the shop. I still go to work a few hours daily because i really love doing what i do. Its like being paid to have a hobby. My son is now a grown man and he is very successful. I have now had time to help and mentor young men around me and have helped 22 men make it to a six figure income. I believe they should get rid of no fault divorce. That way, a woman can still get her divorce, she just can't leave with cash and prizes. Why would anyone fight getting rid of no fault divorce? If a woman doesn't plan on cheating or getting bored with her marriage, she won't have a problem. If her husband is abusive, that is fault on him. If the woman is abusive, that is fault on her. Where is the problem?
Thanks for sharing your experience 😢. Hopefully, most men will see this. Great recovery at the end. What's going on with your ex-wife now, if you know?
Helluva story. But not uncommon at all. Totally concur that married Father's will just grin and bear it in order to be with their children. Especially when they see their fellow fathers have their children poisoned against them by a vindictive hyena. I had a roommate like that, coming out of a divorce. Even though the custody agreement allowed him to have access to his son, the ex only allowed him to speak to his son - by _Phone_ - for one hour on Sunday mornings at 9am. Another guy, who is 70, hasn't spoken with his two sons in over 20 years - as the Mother poisoned the kids she had primary custody of.
@@shotelco yep, unfortunately by the time a man knows what a big mistake he made, he also knows that to get out of it he is going to pay a price that will be devastating. It is one of the leading causes to older men self deleting. Women can't imagine losing everything they loved, everything they worked for, their credit being wrecked, many times being so stressed they lose their job and then having to pay for years. All because his wife got bored or felt unhappy. Just imagine going through all that when it was the wife thar cheated. So she gets to wreck the marriage and still get custody and get paid. She even gets to paint the husband as abusive without any proof and everyone just believes it. I came so close to ending things it is scary. But, I didn't. I stood strong, I pushed through and I now have a great life. My son and I have a great relationship and he wants nothing to do with his mother. She is now homeless last I heard. Now. I come on these sites to tell my story and hopefully help young men to never make the mistakes I did.
As long as the process starts, I'm for it. Some of the plue states have had less draconian laws for awhile. When I got divorced in one of the bluest states in the country the judge told my ex not to even think of asking for ANYthing more than child support.
1 or 2 years of alimony to let someone get back on their feet. 5 years in extenuating circumstances like extended illness or disability. Beyond that is insane.
I like the idea of diminishing payments. Give the spouse receiving alimony time to get his/her act together and get a job. If the payments diminish slightly with each check that'll reduce the idea of kicking back until the deadline.
@@johndoe-dj3iy1-2 months is not enough time for someone who wasn’t responsible for earning the family income is not enough time for a person to reasonably get their affairs in order. 6:45 "we are not leaving because we're bored, we're leaving because we want to enjoy our lives". If that is the case, why don't the women pay for it, why should their ex husbands pay for it?
Hear me out: I am not against women filing for divorce. I am against women filing for divorce because of bullsh!t. This law is a step in the right direction, but my fear is it will create more situations where some women will seek more opportunities for child support, since the spousal support has been dialed down. Six years together could mean a maximum of three years of alimony, but child support will still run a maximum of 18 years _for each child._ Fellas, protect yourself at all times...

@@commanderbracey7501 The sinking ship for real. But they can change laws all they want, it's too late. The damage is done already.
Truth is that's the only reason why they care, because Single Men don't spend a lot of money so they don't pay a boatload of taxes, married men and women are the tax base so now that the politicians arent getting that paycheck they want things to change
On a side note. Governor Desantis's move to end permanent alimony is just great common sense and i applaud him!!!!
What about No Fault divorce ?
@@mikelarry2602 No fault divorce is the problem.
I applaud but I have to wonder what's going on. This is so unlike him. I wonder what his staff told him to persuade him to approve it.
I'm glad that some people in the world are seeing that marriage means something more than just a transactional occurrence.
a retirement plan for the majority of women.
edit: after getting run thru when younger.
“Some people” say it for what it is. Women see marriage as a transactional occurrence.
That is very common, and deplorable at the same time.
When see a woman w a 16 or 17 yr old and a 2 ,3 yr old on welfare same thing.the kids are aging out.
My buddy was going to marry a school teacher, but she would not marry him because she was getting alimony from her terminally ill cancer-stricken husband. She wanted to suck every dollar out of him until he died.
People who treat marriage like a business tend to lose interest as soon as it starts losing money.
Til *debt* do us part, I suppose.
Here is what the Bible says about marriage.
Hebrews 13:4
Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

Good for Ron DeSantis for ending alimony because we know it's mostly women who initiates the divorce anyway and they should not be rewarded for their bad behavior and not making their marriage work! They just wanted their magical day to feel like a Queen and to take a man's resources rather he is married to her or divorced!
Not to be pedantic, but he didn't end alimony. He ended permanent alimony.

If you are being called a narcissist, you might need to be seen by someone with a psychology degree. Just saying!!!

And these are the days of our lives.....when pride is more important than keeping a family together, not ruining children, and both parties lives overall.

Women are selfish creatures.
Wow! That last bit of the "Just Divorced"woman and then showing her 10 years later...hindsight is truly 20/20. Good Vid, Rahul
It's not the same woman.
Marriage is going to be a thing of the past.
You have a female pastor, and you call DeSantis a clown? 😂
The woman that thinks her money is untouchable is selfish, and delusional. It proves that she has a what mine is mine, and what yours is mine mindset.
That woman is not married and never will be married. She wii, however, have two or three kids by Tyrones' who won't pay child support regularly.
It should have been changed
DeSantis just got every Florida man's Presidential vote.

No worries laydeez. I live a peaceful, quiet life of abstinence. Cook my own food, clean my own house, do my own laundry and pay my own bills. It's worked for me for almost 30 years now. Strong and independent? That's me. No sociopathic wife = happy life.
No husband or kids works for me.
Divorce is worse than burying your parents or even burying a child. It's a selfish greedy action

AMEN, WITH 40% OF ALL DNA TESTING RESULTS THE MAN IS NOT THE FATHER, MARRIED OR NOT.

Beyond that is insane.
nah 1 or 2 months to get a job, beyond that is insane.
I like the idea of diminishing payments. Give the spouse receiving alimony time to get his/her act together and get a job. If the payments diminish slightly with each check that'll reduce the idea of kicking back until the deadline.
