The only Mack bobsled I've been on is Avalanche at Kings Dominion (the only one in North America). I agree that it is pretty bumpy because of how the trough is designed on the Mack version, but I really enjoyed it and even took a couple more rides. I thought it was a rather fun family coaster. The fact coaster express parque never got taken down is just bizarre. They better take this ride down. It’s too rough or they better retrack it and bring new trains.
I never had a problem with Coaster Express, so maybe I've been lucky, but it was still dull as hell so is a perfect candidate to be RMC'd anyway. The ones that come to mind for me are King (Foire du Trone - great layout but terrible trains), Bandit (Movie Park Germany - rough as hell) and MP Express at the same park which seemed particularly bad by SLC standards.
I liked Bandit (although I am the only one out of our ride party of 3 who had a good time - the roughness is indeed very present and requires the rider to apply opposite force from where they are seated if bruising is to be avoided) but MP Xpress is a miscreant of the highest order, and we all unanimously agreed never to go near that abomination again. There are GREAT suspended coasters (Phantasialand's Black Mamba is my favourite suspended ride - is it any wonder that it's *not* a Vekoma? It's an Inverted Roller Coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard), but MP Xpress needs a total overhaul or sweet death.
I 100% agree with the Vekoma Boomerangs with arrow trains, I specifically mean Boomerang at one of my home parks Six Flags st louis. I can't bare to understand how it makes sense for a coaster to be this bad. Literally, the amount of headbanging is horrendous and that second catch car lift which I call the death car lift hill is the worst part of the ride. You fly into your restraint like you are being launched backwards. Image a lift hill that stops but the closest anti rollback tooth is 2 feet behind the train. Edit: it also broke my dad's glasses
I hear so many people that love Wild One. I went back in 2014, and didn't get a good ride on it (I think that I sat in a wheel seat). What is the best seat to ride Wild One?
I love that ride most up front. Even in the very back, I enjoy it. It's rougher there, but I always go up front since the airtime is stronger (and it's smoother anyway).
It´s pretty hard to say which are the worst coasters in the world. I mean, there are a lot boring ones (Schweizer Bobbahn or Carolina Goldrusher for example), but are they the worst? I can understand many of your list. I would add Thundercoaster at Tusenfryd (because of the Timberliner trains), Vortex at Carowinds, King at french funfairs and Viking Roller Coaster at Energylandia. ^^
I've yet to ride Thundercoaster, King, or Viking, but I enjoy Vortex since I've found a way to ride B&M stand-ups where my ears clear the top of the OSTR to avoid headbanging.
Crazy Mouse is really just a cookie-cutter ride, as we've got one on the pier here at brighton and I've seen it elsewhere like at set-up amusement parks
If we're referring to the major non-knockoff (China) manufacturers, then I may actually agree with that. Most other manufacturers have gems, or positives. Pinfari made rough rides, but they are influential in helping popularise steel coasters (especially in small parks and in travelling fairs) and they also made a few innovations here and there. But RCCA made mostly airtimeless, rough, often poorly tracked and somewhat boring twisters that seem to have a helix fetish. Rattler was abysmal, the trackwork in it originally was pathetic and shameful. Just look at povs of the early ride, its awful. They also were a bit scummy, or so I've read. (once)
This man doesn’t get enough credit, he has ridden more coasters than coaster studios and has a great opinion, you are a great channel and deserve more credit, I hope you have a good day,
Last time I went to Canadas wonderland my group insisted we go on flight deck, despite me warning them about the notoriously rough ride, which was not helped by the hard restraints. When we reached the brake run, the entire train was just a symphony of "ow!" "omg my ears!" "shit that hurt.." so on so fourth. When we were leaving the ride, every single passenger had bright red ears from the friction against the plastic, and I had to go sit down in the shade because it had given me a bad headache. I'm probably never going to ride that awful thing again.
I don’t know if you’ve ridden it, but Coney Island cyclone is a roller coaster in Brooklyn, NY. It is likely the worst roller coaster on the planet. With your diagrams, it would have the markings over the upper legs, but it would need a ☠️ symbol over it. The cataclysmic insanity that is the lethally violent thrusts that’s the ride makes you do, while next to someone openly, and no padding surrounds, is undeniably some of the worst stuff on this planet. I could not walk for 15 days post to riding that roller coaster. Since the ride is long, the entire time is just pain and suffering. While my legs throb bleed and shift into abnormal positions, I hope to keep my life while experiencing pure torture.

Am I the only person who feels that Apocalypse rode better than Firebird at Six Flags America? I live 50 minutes from the park and found not only the theming to Apocalypse better, but the head banging was less too. Then I banged once, maybe twice. On Firebird I bang more than that every ride. I used to ride Apocalypse at least once a visit. Firebird I've literally skipped a few visits. Did you manage to ride this as Iron Wolf? If so, was it better before the move? Wonder if that made the ride worse as I know it has for other rides.
I only rode it as Apocalypse and Firebird. Firebird in the back is smooth outside of the turn after the corkscrew. It's very shaky up front which is the opposite of what you would think.

@@coasterhockygamingboy9549 So Canobie Coaster says that the improvements from the floorless conversions of these two coasters were similar to what he got from Firebird?
I never rode Mantis, but Rougarou is decent. I love the first half, but the second half has some questionable transitions I have to lean forward for. Patriot is ok. I don't love that ride's layout, but the ride got a bit more comfortable with the floorless trains. Apocalypse was miserable in any row for me. Firebird is decent in the back row. In the front, Firebird is still very rough.
I disagree hard with both gardaland picks. Sequoia magic loop was admittedly a weird one but it was super unique and I enjoyed it. Blue tornado is the best SLC I've ridden and probably my favourite ride at that park. Number 22: Sequoia Magic Loop at Gardaland. This ride is slow and awkward. It's not hard to see why more of those S&S Screamin Squirrels were not built. The drops, if you even call them that, are heavily braked and controlled. So you have no thrills, you just spend... Wildcat at Hersheypark in 2022 was bad, no matter where I sat, it sucked. I am glad it got the RMC treatment. Big Apple Coaster in Las Vegas was another lousy coaster for me, but I last rode it in 2016. I am not a fan of Anaconda at Kings Dominion, Corkscrew at Cedar Point, or Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds. I guess me and Arrow Loopers don't mix.
My least favorite is Hurler at Kings Dominion. Thank goodness they turned it into Twisted Timbers. After watching your favorite 50 amusement parks, it got me wondering if you had considered talking about your least favorite as well?
The reason I hesitate to rank least favorite amusement parks is that it depends what you count (ex. when do FECs count) and one bad visit could heavily weight the ranking.
Number 12: Goliath at Six Flags New England. With the original trains, this ride would have been... A) Nowhere near this list, that's why none of the other Giant Inverted Boomerangs would come close to the spot B) In some places close to the top 10 of this list C) Giant Inverted Boomerangs would have been in this list, but only listed one, like the SLCs

9:17 that’s the same layout as the dragon wagon at my local fair. I came off that one with a large gash on my knee and multiple on my legs. So I’m guessing roughness is an issue with that particular layout
Number 16: Crazy Mouse at Hirakata Park. This is supposed to be a Reverchon spinning mouse. I say supposed to, because the spin... A) was lessened to give a more enjoyable ride B) was disabled on every single vehicle C) was disabled on a few vehicles
Imagine, a quote, Canobie Coaster, would say: Number 19: Canyon Blaster at Great Escape. The first half of this ride is slow and pointless. The second half has a decently fast double helix, but the dip in between levels is rough, especially because of the speed at which you take it. Your legs...

Minebuster (Canadas wonderland) is a terrible coaster. Bad layout, rough as heck, and don’t get me started on how long its lines are. Just skip it and go to behemoth or Yukon striker, they’re close by.
Number 13: Nightmare at Crack Axle Canyon at Great Escape. This was an indoor Schwarzkopf Jet Star. I enjoyed Tigr'r at Indiana Beach, but the one at Great Escape...
In my opinion you forgot Goudurix in Parc Asterix. I prefer the SLCs I've been on to Goudurix any day of the week. My gosh what a total dump. I ended up with a headache so bad I couldn't even enjoy Tonnerre 2 Zeus anymore...
Flight Deck at Canada’s Wonderland is my least favourite. Not only did my head get beaten mercilessly, but somehow it gave me bad pain in my leg for like 30mins after the ride. Never riding it again.
I have to agree with you about Coast Rider at Knotts. It not only digs into your shins painfully but it jacks up your knees! At least it does for me. I have one bad knee (osteoarthritis) so my flexibility in that knee is limited. The shin guard was torture on my bad knee and when getting off it hurt just to get my bad knee to straighten out again. My Twisted Colossus has shin guards too but those don’t jack up my knees like Coast Rider does. And yes it’s a combo of that shin guard and it cramped that make it a bad ride
Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia is the WORST ride I’ve been on. It’s super bumpy and painful. It jarred my neck and gave me a head ache. It was also really boring.
I thinked that bouncing, bumpy, headbanging, jackhammering, shimmying, shuffling, shaking, rattle, and vibration, were the same, but I thinked there were differences between all those types of roughness:
Some people i do not know if they liked Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid, but why did you not like that? Many wooden coasters are rough, great, amazing, and give 4, 5, or 6 of 10
and what do you think about the hangtime there in the S&S Screamin Squirrel? A) Decent hangtime B) Incredible hangtime C) There are far better rides for hangtime D) 4 out of 10 hangtime
And Mind Eraser at Six Flags America is equally as bad as Blue Tornado at Gardaland? both are SLCs with similar restraints. I like SLCs because in Terra Mítica there's one
Canobie Coaster would say: Number 18: Carolina Goldrusher at Carowinds. This ride may be small but has some really bad transitions. The entrance into the helix in particular...
late to the party but i'd like to throw Hurricane at Fun Spot America: Atlanta into the mix. rode it about 2 weeks ago for the credit and i genuinely was afraid in the back row because of the lack of trim brakes and the fact that several points of the track looked misaligned while i was riding. got the credit but never again
On all roller coasters in the world, imagine riding one that shuffles and one smooth. I like both shuffling and smooth. What do you think? Do you like both shuffling and smooth? Or what do you prefer, shuffling or smooth?
I don't have any footage of this ride, so I'm showing some video footage of... A) The version at Wiener Prater B) The version at Brighton Pier C) The version at Steel Pier that has the same issue on a few vehicles
I love the international flare on this list. And totally agree about the US coasters you named here

The fact coaster express parque never got taken down is just bizarre. They better take this ride down. It’s too rough or they better retrack it and bring new trains.
I'd love for it to get RMCed.
Sandy's Blasting Bronco! Never been on a shakier coaster, and the forces with the restraints made it VERY painful.
I last rode it in November and it wasn't painful then. It had a shake on the pullouts though.
TMNT Shellraiser looks better it’s pretty overrated even tho it looks very fun imo
@@coasterhockygamingboy9549 The launch and drop are cool but the inversions beside the inverted top hat kinda suck.
MP Express is probably the second or third worst SLC I've ridden. Bandit was bumpy, but it was too slow to cause pain for me.
I forgot that one had an Arrow train, but that's another bad one. I have only ridden that one once.
Which boomerangs have Arrow trains? I saw you used a Bat POV, but I think that's the smoothest of all boomerangs.
It's easy to tell by the pointy lead car. RCDB has a list of them I believe.
I rode the wild mouse at Fuji q and ended up coming off with a headache that lasted the whole day
It was bad, but at least it didn't hurt my head (for me at least).
That's me with 99% of all wooden coasters (Intamin pre-fab & RMCs not included).
Where Would You Place Green Lantern: First Flight If It Was Still Around
I rode that coaster and didn't hate it as much as others. It was wasn't great, but not consistently bad.
I LOVE slcs, but I HATE boomerangs
I don't mind most boomerangs, but the ones with Arrow trains are bad.
I’ve ridden 1 at my home park and it sucks
Der bandit movie park germany also HURTS hard
I find it more boring than painful.

The only ride i've ridden that is as rough and painful as Blue Tornado is Goudurix. That thing is awful, and it's at my home park.
I enjoyed Goudurix when I rode it in 2019. Didn't find it rough surprisingly.
It was my home park for most of my childhood, and it definitely used to be rougher. Last time i did it, it was still very rough.
"Every inch of RCCA track..." There's your problem right there. RCCA may be the worst manufacturer ever to grace the scene.
I tend to agree.
(once)
Are there any rollercoasters you would add to this list as of 2023?
There has been some movement. For example, Viking Roller Coaster would make it.
Love the pain meter! 🤣
Thank you!

Not at this time because there hasn't bee much change on the worst of the worst.

Mind Eraser at SFA takes the cake for me! 🤕😭
That may be the worst SLC in America.

That one hurts so much. I got such a bad headache after I read it
Blue tornado is an exact replica of the one of my favorite SLC rollercoasters, that being the NorEaster at Moreys Piers, Wildwood, New Jersey
Great Nor’Easter is great with the new trains and track. Blue Tornado has neither of those things.
I don't think I'll ride it again unless it gets new trains.
So proud of my home park 🤦♂️
If I rode that, I'd have to have a beer (properly enjoyed with food, of course) to block out the memory.
I love the Cyclone. The trains feel like couches and I find it pretty smooth given its age and layout. It does throw you around, but that's by design.
Ain’t it funny that number one is the one ride I really want to ride yet is always out of service?
Oh no!

For the most part, no. Viking Roller Coaster and RC-48 are the only two rides that were disastrous enough to get this low.
I rode blue tornado last month and that was a big mistake. I don't even know why aren't they changing this terrible ride..
I'd love new trains.

Considering the other SLC I've ridden (Infusion at Blackpool Pleasure Beach) ranking in probably my bottom 3, I consider blue tornado to be a good coaster. Great list

My home park is Parque Warner and yeah... Coaster Express is awful but i don’t think is the worst of all
Maybe it was running bad when I visited (very hot day in the summer of 2019).

A shame they lost the old trains.
Minebuster (Canadas wonderland) is a terrible coaster. Bad layout, rough as heck, and don’t get me started on how long its lines are. Just skip it and go to behemoth or Yukon striker, they’re close by.

That ride was a disaster. Rough and low throughput.
In my opinion you forgot Goudurix in Parc Asterix. I prefer the SLCs I've been on to Goudurix any day of the week. My gosh what a total dump. I ended up with a headache so bad I couldn't even enjoy Tonnerre 2 Zeus anymore...
I actually liked Goudurix and Zeus.
Flight Deck at Canada’s Wonderland is my least favourite. Not only did my head get beaten mercilessly, but somehow it gave me bad pain in my leg for like 30mins after the ride. Never riding it again.
It's brutal.
It's disturbing how bad that ride is now with those restraints.
Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia is the WORST ride I’ve been on. It’s super bumpy and painful. It jarred my neck and gave me a head ache. It was also really boring.
I think the new restraints make it comfortable.
I thinked that bouncing, bumpy, headbanging, jackhammering, shimmying, shuffling, shaking, rattle, and vibration, were the same, but I thinked there were differences between all those types of roughness:
Yes, I put them in a comment for you.
Some people i do not know if they liked Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid, but why did you not like that? Many wooden coasters are rough, great, amazing, and give 4, 5, or 6 of 10
Coaster Express has a bad layout and a rough ride together.
and what do you think about the hangtime there in the S&S Screamin Squirrel?
A) Decent hangtime
B) Incredible hangtime
C) There are far better rides for hangtime
D) 4 out of 10 hangtime
There's a lot of it, but it's awkward.
And Mind Eraser at Six Flags America is equally as bad as Blue Tornado at Gardaland? both are SLCs with similar restraints. I like SLCs because in Terra Mítica there's one
Blue Tornado is worse since the padding is harder.
13 laps on a kiddie coaster is crazy usually its only 2-3 laps for coasters like that
It was torture.
Canobie Coaster would say:
Number 18: Carolina Goldrusher at Carowinds. This ride may be small but has some really bad transitions. The entrance into the helix in particular...
Has bad banking.
Seriously, Time Warp at CW is the worst ever. And it’s right next to Flight Deck ranking 2nd worst. Followed by The Bat. 3 top tier worst rides.
