From the time you saw your sister in law and her kids come with their luggage to reside in your house and hearing that more of your in-laws are coming also you should have taken all your belongings and leave the house and go. After serve your husband with divorce papers and cut ties with them. If you are paying for the house then stop the payment.

This is just a story, but there are families very similar to this. It happens too many times when possessions become more than relationships

Indeed living a happy life is the best revenge. Being happy hurts those who try to harm us.

This story have human elements to it no two country is the same and no two culture is the same however, if it to believed we are all humans and are all subject to greed, lust, good, selfishness, jealousy, and even wickedness. This story brough out all the traits of every human on earth, it is only up to the individual to understand and respect the differences in each of us. The story have come full circle a truly remarkable immigration on the writers part. Thank you. And to the Narrator you did a splendid job.

Come in another wonderful grandmother full of unconditional love. If readers still have or two or more time to contact them.

If you ever find yourself in this kind of situation you need to know what to do. Is pack up all your valuable stuff and private paper. Call a very good Lawyer and file on the husband. Leave them .

Yes get out don’t come back, get the homework and take it with you. Check the joint account!! This is a horrible story and too realistic. The smirk of a predator.

Such a need to have a decent job, keep it during marriage, being careful about what is signed or not, never letting husband lie about what is his taking what is yours. I would leave this house quickly, having learned from watching these stories. Rachel had her manuscript next morning so she should have left the room gone up to her room, left them to cook. Most definitely not to cook for them all.the joint account issue….lesson is to not have one, keep one’s own money in own account with no access. The smirk is the sign of a sadist, a genetic trait. Be warned and be very very careful.

Seems like they couldn't do any of this without a signature in front of a Notary Public. That requires ID.

Unless the notary is corrupt. Several years ago, we had to testify at the trial of a corrupt, lying notary...Forgery and fraud.

In India she would have given the house to her husband and family and would have been forced to serve them willingly or unwittingly
