I thought I was a creative subtype, but harmonizing makes so much more sense. And I typed as infj through my life, I'm a writer (fiction) and a freelance editor 🙂 Thank you for this!

44:45 yes! I thought I was a feeler. I mistook my Fe as Fi because I’m more like a harmonizer/normalizer rather than the more assertive stereotype ESTP. Fascinating stuff
I like the concept of fluidity between these subtypes. Now that I’m older and no longer a crazy youngin’, I’ve definitely seen the shift from creative to harmonizing, with bouts of normalizing. Great video, as per the usual. So important to note how much life experience adjusts and shifts the expression of our personality preferences.
I have noticed that I have changed from creative to normalizing from college onward. When I was younger, my energy was more out there and I was a lot more recklessly blunt but it seems like nowadays people type me as an ENFJ or ESFJ type due to developed Fe/Fi too. But I mean...it is what it is lol. Thank you for sharing this information!
Hey Joel and Antonia. I found this episode to be particularly fascinating. As an INFP (EII in Socionics), the dynamic with ESTPs (SLE in Socionics) is supposedly that of conflict due to the vast differences in cognition and values. Looking back, I worked with at least a couple of people that I suspect are ESTPs. Years ago, I worked at a country club, and one of the chefs seemed to be an ESTP, probably more of the creative subtype.
So if a harmonizing ESTN is mistaken for an N, is it Ne or Ni? Or for an F, is it Fe or Fi? More generally- what does wholistic Ti look like compared to analytic?

ESTP here! This is the best video for us out here! Most of them are done by introverts and are boring 😂

Current creative ESTP (24 years old)
Brosnan as James Bond sounds to me to "ESTP normalizing" (I see too much "Ti" there; also "phlegmatic"; and self-preservation)
So if a harmonizing ESTN is mistaken for an N, is it Ne or Ni?
