I think Sean is a great guy for sharing his knowledge with others for free - it has helped me with my own M Sport BMW 3 - save so much money and time. Thank you SeanS54.
As always, great video. I got my fuel filter today. I'm also replacing the fuel regulator along with it since it's right there. Trying to avoid a third tow from thill!
Excellent video - to cycle the engine to remove pressure & fuel from the injectors/rail, does the radiator & fluid need to be connected/filled to the motor? I was amidst replacing the OE radiator with Mishimoto (radiator already pulled, coolant drained) before deciding to full on commit to head gasket replacement altogether.. will be a major PITA if motor needs coolant just to cycle it to remove fuel from injectors/rail & then have to drain it again for HG replacement. Thanks Sean
U didnt take out the negative battery? Im afraid if i disconnect n put it back the spark might catch the fuel droplets somewhere around my fingers/clothes lol
Well, my bmw garage when I phoned up to order all new filters ready for service told me that the e46 m3 doesn’t have a fuel filter 😂😂😂 that phone call will be interesting tomorrow to the parts guy...

Good job buddy!! Thankyou for showing the damn car, not just the damn filter!!!
I'm gonna go attempt this now, it looks pretty straight-forward. Thank you for making this video short, simple, and to the point!
Great video Sean. 👍 I’m doing this today and your good pointers and instructions make things easy. Thank you 😊

Thanks, good idea! Break downs always suck. Hopefully you get it sorted out.
What's the symptom of a bad regulator
Thanks

Hi , will the entire gas tank empty on this ? Or just whatever is in those lines
Very good job 👍 Thank you!
Thanks!
Thanks !

so after i am done first i will cycle the car few times and then ill put the fuse back and start the car right?
This should be similar with the e36?
Me thinks, but not 100% sure. I know on the newer BMWs the fuel filter is internal to the tank.
Does anyone know if I can get this done with just the front raised ?
