I wanted to thank you Dave for taking the time from your busy schedule, to continue to film the new arrivals and follow through their integration into their adopted troops. You are doing a wonderful job and kudos to your staff and volunteers!
You all are doing a spectacular job with these beautiful animals. The care & love you guys & gals give to each one is awesome. Thank you. And we miss Kyle.
The narration by Dave as we were watching Eli and Maddox with Mrs Gold was wonderfully explicit and so emotionally attuned to the behavior and reactions of the monkeys to each other. So enjoyable and engrossing!

I love seeing the babies finally joining a foster mom. Thanks for your time you give and to all the workers there. If I were physically able I'd love to join in the wonderful work you do with the animals. They are all so precious.
Omg those little babies are precious. The way they hug on each other and seem to be protective over each other is amazing and definitely a great sign for the future. Question: With this type of primate is it common for the males to have a very distinctive blue color to the testicles? This breed also has very beautiful faces. I’m so happy these lil guys and gals have a home with you at the Sanctuary. God bless you all for everything you do.

Dave...great information coming from your years of experience...like the little Samango...too bad your armless one passed on...keep on with the great videos and information...
Around 17:20 is it normal for the adoptive mother to allow the baby’s to nurse? Mrs. Gold looked a bit flustered while eating the grass with the baby was trying to nurse.
Hey Dave. Does it take longer for prospective moms to warm up to older orphans ? What happens when you take in a older juvenile male? I know you sterilize them when you take them in. Is it a hard process for the troop to accept an outsider male? Do they become less aggressive after being sterilized?
According to previous videos, once the babies become "teenagers" it's really hard to find a mom that wants to adopt them. It's easier when they are still cute babies. (Remind you of another species?)
yes its more difficult to intergrate a baby that are older, as after 3 months they dont like being held so much and like to explorer which seems to put the moms off, its also harder to get them to adapt as they are alot more aware of there situation and as kids hard to change there diet (milk) to something diffrent. No sterilization makes no diffrence to the males as we vasectomies them - everything stays the same as all parts are still there
@@VervetMonkey So the number one goal of the male is still to mate with as many females as he can. I wonder if the big males sit around talking among themselves about the babies. Alpha Male: You see that one...he's mine. Beta Male: No he isn't.....he has my ears.
I would say its more like how many females he can win over, it does not seem like a wild orgy - more like a short courtship and then a form of trying to protect who you like from others

🙋🇨🇦♥️ I'm sorry but I have to ask "why is it that the male vervets testicles are blue?" I've noticed that some are a deeper color than others? Lol I'm sorry but I love the color! Lol
actually vervets skin is a blueish color - as we know females always look down to se how well endowed a male is, vervets have one extra way of showing off - the brighter the blue the healthier stonger and sexually mature the male is
sometimes its nervousesness, im not going to say no to fleas as when they kep at peoples houses they do tend to get them, but the ones you see here its more a nervouse reaction

From what I've gathered, it's just for comfort. But it's not impossible for the foster moms to begin producing milk. I imagine quite impossible to know for sure either way which is why they supply the feeding cages
Dave, you’re doing a nice job. You have big footsteps to try to follow in. Love seeing the babies and moms. Perhaps a bit less explanation is called for...it is not a sporting event needing play by play commentary. Could we maybe see the process through the perspective of others too-a carer, a feeder, the staff in Disneyland or the intro cages, whoever....Having other perspectives would be interesting as I’m sure people came for different reasons or maybe they specialized in different areas. It would allow for many unique experiences to be shared.
I am trying my best to get them involved but not everyone likes to - we cannot force them - as already putting pressure on to get enough footage - hard to find middle ground with commentary and I prefer not to speak, felt sometimes people needed an explanation
I love Dave's narrative, he's perfect. What we have with this commenter is a control freak. What Dave has done with these videos greatly improved them and added much needed education.
