I used to sit on my Grandpa's lap as a kid watching the cubs. Naturally I grew up being a cubs fan. Funny though my sister and two brothers are Sox fans My grandmother died the previous November. My grandfather was depressed and lonely but he always had the cubs to lean on. When Rizzo caught the last out, I called my grandfather who is 87 amd we cried. My grandfather lost the love of his life, yet he got to experience something he had never seen before, the Cubs win a world Series. I was able to share a part of that with him. It meant the world to me.
I think every weekend since they have won it all I have watched some video on game 7 or their playoff run and fans celebrating. This just never gets old!
"This is gonna be a tough play, Bryant!....The Cubs!....WIN THE WORLD SERIES! AND THE CUBS! HAVE FINALLY WON IT ALL!"....ONLY time I think i've ever truly enjoyed the sound of Joe Buck's voice. This game, my god, it seemed like it took 2 days to play. Then the RAIN delay before the 10th inning! Worth EVERY heart stopping SECOND of the 5 hours and 2 minutes it took.
Even tho it is 2021, I still cry over this winning, this was a really big year for the Cubs and they won it all (2016) We will never forget that day the Cubs win the World Series!
I still get emotional watching this...imagining what Harry, Ernie and Ron would have said and done, how my grandfather and so many other Cub fans who never saw a World Champion Cubs team would have reacted.
Marlins fan here, and not remotely attached to anything from the windy city but like most of the country, I was thrilled to see the CHICAGO CUBS win it all after so many decades of heartbreak. Sorry about game 6 in the 2003 NLCS, but you all were the absolute finest in 2016 and deserved the championship. 💯💯
I was crying I’m a cubs faithful fan since 1987 I went to wrigley field in 2012 I was so happy to experience wrigley field in my time that’s once in a lifetime experience
This brought so many tears of joy to me. I watched every single pitch of the 2016 World Series. Its been over 5 years and I still cry like it just happened. I have loved baseball my entire life. Both of my grandfathers loved baseball, neither of them lived to see the Cubs win a World Series. Atlanta finally winning in 2021 was great, but the Cubs Series will go down as the greatest in baseball history.
RIP 2016 Cleveland Indians, gone but not forgotten. Your hard work to keep the Cubs fans at bay was in vain, but I shall never forget. Sincerely, a Reds fan.
Cubbie fan here....I've watched this a bunch of times and love it. But the other part of gm 7 was of all the emotions and different plays that Indians Raji Davis was in, can't think of anyone else on a losing team ever had to go thru this like he did. Watch this again and count how many plays he was in and u will see what I'm talking about. Thanks
I waited 48 years since I was 5 years old to experience this my dad waited to see the return. He was 5 years old in 1945 when they were in the Series last. So glad he got to see it happen of course I am as well. I just hope I don’t have to wait another 48 years.
I dont know how many other second basemen in the league make that turn that Javy makes in the 2nd inning. QUICK hands/transition and a hell of an arm to get that ball over to Rizzo. That kid is so much fun to watch.
Was lucky enough to see this at a bar on Clark street a block from the stadium. One of the most amazing experiences of my life. My hands hurt for 2 days from all the high fives.
I love my Ohio State Buckeyes football, my Dr. J led 76ers, my H.S. Almamater WE Bulldogs and my Dallas Cowboys....But MY CHICAGO CUBS WINNING THE WORLD SERIES IS THE GREATEST SPORTS ACHIEVEMENT I'VE EVER SEEN. The pain of 84, 89, 98, 03, 07, and 08 have been swept away. I waited 40 plus years and I LOVE IT! THE CHICAGO CUBS WORLD CHAMPIONS!
Julian, fuck copyright, this is the best of the best! I heard that Cubs was gonna be in World Series but I didn't watch because my dad did not watch but I had hope and when they won Iwas crying all over the damn place
The Chicago Park District estimated approximately 5 million people showed up for the parade and celebration ceremony. After the Cubs won the World Series.
I didn’t think this video would ever get 228+ thousand views… watching it 4 years later kinda hurts. Thank you all for both positive and negative feedback. This video always has, and always will have some emotional meaning: until the next one, Chicago…..
the dodgers may have beaten us in 2017 NLCS but we will always remember cubs winning the 2016 world series and it will be talked every day, every month, and year 8760 hours and 365 days.
Obviously I shouldn’t complain about a Cubs championship but I’ll never understand Joe Taking our Hendricks in the middle of an inning when he was rolling
how do you get these clips? i have always wondered that bc i really want to make some videos. definitely not for youtube though. just to show my family 😊
BRIMTIME. yeah. The PROFESSOR! was on FIRE! that night! Breaking ball, change up, curve, BACK DOOR CUTTER! even his his fastball high 80 low 90 was in effect, even tho his fb wasn't overpowering. Great stuff. Guy is dynastic, championship, hof material.
The music kills this video. totally. I'm not a Cubs fan, I'm not an Indians fan; just a baseball fan. But, as someone who enjoys good content, the music killed it. I skipped ahead hoping it was gone... but no.

One of the best moments in my life
Good for you. ;)
If you're not a Cubs fan, let me put this into perspective. At least 7 generations of people died waiting for this to happen.......
Rel-living this great moment on April 14, 2020, and it still feels fresh, and my eyes getting watery. This will never fade away!
"This is gonna be a tough play, Bryant!....The Cubs!....WIN THE WORLD SERIES! AND THE CUBS! HAVE FINALLY WON IT ALL!"....ONLY time I think i've ever truly enjoyed the sound of Joe Buck's voice.

Hear his voice of the final 2 outs of the 2016 NLCS when the cubs won the pennant.
Man is annoying. I would have loved hearing Harry call that final out
Even tho it is 2021, I still cry over this winning, this was a really big year for the Cubs and they won it all (2016)
We will never forget that day the Cubs win the World Series!
That 2016 squad has got to rank in the top 10 as best lineups in history, add the pitching staff for that year easily top 5
Game was in Cleveland but was loud Af when fowler homered.
Best moment in the history of modern baseball.
Everyone knows about Kris Bryant's power, but he's also one hell of a base runner. Rare in a big man.
2 year's later and I still get emotional when I see this. It always puts a smile on my face. Cubbie for life
I have watched this video about 100 times, and it never gets old. I still get goosebumps watching it!

I get chills every time I see this!

"It's OVER and the CUBS have FINALLY WON IT ALL!!!" Will remember that for a lifetime😎😎😎

Just gotta come here. & SMILE! CUBS baaaybeee!!
You just know that when this song starts playing in a video like this that something special will happen, and it does.
I dont know how many other second basemen in the league make that turn that Javy makes in the 2nd inning. QUICK hands/transition and a hell of an arm to get that ball over to Rizzo. That kid is so much fun to watch.
He is. He's my favorite.
David Suarez I know he's not a second basemen but I think Alcides Escobar is a close second

I remember watching this all live at my grandmas house and we celebrated with Oreos and sour patch at 1:00 in the morning
Never ever gets old!
Harry Caray was smiling from heaven
Well, actually, he was probably screaming "Holy Cow!" from Heaven LOL
Henricks was having a MVP quality outing and Maddon yanked him early and almost cost them the World Series.
The key word is "almost". They won. Let me say that again.....they WON. He played it exactly right.
Good 👍 great job awesome. Winning clubs. 8@7. Cleveland
This vid is HYPEEEEE. Idk how anyone can call themselves a Cubs fan and not love Kris Bryant. That dude was HUSTLING the whole game for this win.
I wish Grandpa Ross didn't retire
Greatest video ever. Cubs win the World Series!!!!!
One of the happiest days of my life
Thank you for the video it bright my spirits !
Beto Alvarez hey! No problem. I enjoy it.
Julian Bumbalow thanks I have a fan reaction on my page !
2:03 Munenori Kawasaki is like HELL YEAH JAVY!!! The whole bench reacted crazy
Hendricks should've pitched the entire game.
And maybe he woulda given up a ton of runs and they woulda lost!
The only thing that is FOR SURE is Madden played it exactly right. Strange....but right. They won. Any other way is a "maybe".
Still Watching Videos like this of them winning!! YAY!
1955 to 2016. Waited 61 years. No way to describe it.
Beat ya by one.....54 to 16. Spent half of my life in the yard and drinking at Ray's Bleachers across from the bleacher entrance.
Everytime we watch the cubs they always win
Dude the video was PERFECT before the 80s hair band started. Turn it off. The game sounds are the best music.
LETS GO CUBBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I could sit here all day putting exclamation marks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best video ever.
Still.....the best day EVER.
i love watching all the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series game 7 highlights on YOU TUBE.
BRYZZO FOR THE W

CAN'T HERE THE ANNOUNCERS
Yeah but I bet you can HEAR them ok....right ?
The Chicago Park District estimated approximately 5 million people showed up for the parade and celebration ceremony. After the Cubs won the World Series.
Best video ever. Cubs won it all!!!!
Rizzo you are so awesome...There is def a reason why you are a first basemen.
Hell froze over that day with the devil giving two for one on sleigh rides. Lol
My FAVORITE TEAM...GO CUBS,FLY THE W AS ALWAYZ
Awesome moment, very happy for them. But, I'm still bothered by 2003, how sweet it would have been for that team.
I come back at least once a month for this video
Barry Jowers well thanks!
Great video would be a lot better without the song
The music makes it.
acthelione123 why the FUCK did they put a song in I had to watch it in mute
u guys are part of the new brainwashed generation this is actually good music im only 14 but i learned from my old folks

What is this salty discharge? You’re crying! This will never ever get old. Having a bad day? Replay game 7. I watch it seven days a week.

Best Cubs video iv seen yet thanks you couldn't of picked a better song!!
Joey Mianulli name of the song please
"Winning It All" by The Outfield (1992)
Original Soundtrack: Mighty Ducks
That atmosphere was like college football neutral site game
People: How many years were taken off your life during this game
Me: Yes
Pass the tissue. .My beloved Cubs have won the World Series.
Happiest day of my life besides my daughter being born
What's the name of this song
winning it all by the outfield
Nice
How did someone get footage of 1908, in such clarity?
L
Something you loser Cub fans know all about. Fly them L's, Cubtards
R can't hear you over the 2016 world series champion throphy we have
1908
What about it?
Any other born and raised Cubs fans watching this when they need a pick-me-up in life?
Did that base ball and that base ball batt fall off of the base ball players hands.
7 years ago tonight.
thank you
Chills
Man Hendricks was dealing that night,
BRIMTIME.
I still can't believe it happened.
Why the music tho ??? 🤬🤬🤬
2019 anyone?
The music kills this video. totally. I'm not a Cubs fan, I'm not an Indians fan; just a baseball fan. But, as someone who enjoys good content, the music killed it. I skipped ahead hoping it was gone... but no.
All was going well until 2:09. The music sucks.
the Cleveland Indians blew a 3-1 lead that same year Cleveland cavaliers came back from a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals
And then the Browns went winless in 2017
Could not have picked a better song for this video
Love Chris Dexter davied and kyile
it was fine until you added the music lol
I was there!
That music
