Ghana must develop a unique sound to compete with Nigeria globally, every entertainment agenda in Ghana is subconsciously inspired by Nigeria's global entertainment dominance. Of which, Nigerians never really had an agenda or plan to be the leading entertainment hub in Africa. Nigerians are just bunch of determined people hungry for greatness and excellence.

Dear Kwame Dazzie, DJ Abrante was not the ones who coined the word Afrobeat or Afrobeats. Fela Kuti did. You can't just add an "S" to a word that have been existing before DJ Abrante was born and call it a new word. The word Afrobeat with an "s" is a plurality. Not a new word. That plurality does not mean all African music genres either. Afrobeats is rather a fusion of instrumentations. Also, Afrobeats is not the umbrella name for all African music. Never. Not all African music is Afrobeats. You can't call Senegalese Griot music Afrobeats. Afrobeats is a district sound and genre from NIgeria. 99.9% of Afrobeats are coming out of Nigeria. Rhumba, Soukous, Ndobolo, Kwasa kwasa, Mbalax, Griot, Kora, Fuji, Makossa, etc are not Afrobeats. They sound totally different from Afrobeats, and they are not under the umbrella of Afrobeats. I think Nigeria is giving you Ghanaians severe nightmares. When have you heard of a government of a country involved in creating a music genre for their country? This is ludicrous! Why do you Ghanaians always wait for your government do everything for you? You guys have destroyed the only friendship with Nigeria by your unguarded attacks and jealousy. You people have poisoned the hearts and souls of Nigerians world-wide with your hate and toxicity towards them just because they are winning globally. Guess what, if you only knew that Nigerians don't care.
@@MrSamAdahyes, my brother. The only lifeline they had as a music industry has been destroyed by jealousy and arrogance. Their music will die the natural death soon. Delusional and mediocre set of people. They will explain tire.
Its been five years since i started tuning to ghana media just to hear them whine and complain. These are people's fathers o! How come a country has raised a generation of emotional men. Andy dotsy and his crew would come and make rowdy noise, bulldog at some point got into his feelings and was cursing on a live show. And all of this is because of Nigeria. You claim your sound was stolen, we learnt from you, nigerian artistes were sleeping in studios in accra to learn crafts from you. Its been 5 years down the line and nothing has changed. Una no dey tire? Shit talking all the time! Look at simi and tell me what she's doing; highlife with modern groove. Go back and listen to duduke and Ayo. Burna boy's common person is highlife, pure highlige. The things youre talking about are already being done by nigerians. Get your shit together and focus Ghana
All hail Ghana, the creator and inventors of all African music. I just tune in to videos of Ghana media, just to enjoy my self of their stupidity and ignorance on how a good music industry is created. They want their Government to go and buy the recognition they crave for, since Nigeria 🇳🇬 music came to great limelight. It has been their nightmare. The crying is just beginning.
