Hi,i have the same problem, the connection between new ap and controller absolutely good,but at gui wlc the new ap not detected on APs list. Actually for the first reset the ap,then the ap downloading the image from controller,the new ap detected on wlc,but after that the new ap is not detected anymore on wlc. Pls advice for any ideas

Reason for last AP connection failure : Max Retransmission to AP
Logs from the AP: No more AP manager addresses remain..
No valid AP manager found for controller
what could be the reason ?

check the certificate of the WLC or the AP. this Debug is very misleading!

how do you ssh/telnet to an access point thats already joined the controller?

You need to enable telnet/SSH on the APs either globally or per-AP. This will also most likely require you to set admin credentials of the APs.
