59:30 yes I feel like the Bible is also very simplified for people to understand but I think it deters people from Christ. It started to happen to me. Then when I picked up the Bible and started reading it everyday myself, it has helped me and my relationship with Christ.

Example: Jewish groups will laugh and say the talmud permits what the torah condemns. It really isn't funny though. There are horrific actions allowed in those extra writings and thats goes for other religions based on the bible as well.
There are horrific writings in the Old Testament that Christians use today as if they were biblical mandates from God himself. I mean how do you understand the fact that God commanded the Israelites to kill off people groups? As far as I'm concerned this is the basis for Christian nationalism. And these things are repeated down through Christian history from Constantine to Trump. It wasn't a whole Exposition about all of the extra biblical writings, they were just used as comparison to how different Traditions use different books to include in their own Canon
On the Catholic inclusion of the Apocrypha, you should have at least mentioned Jerome’s work in translation in which he included a preface for the Apocrypha noting that the Jewish community had not fully included those as “holy writings.” As I understand it, that preface was either lost or no longer included by the mid-Medieval period. That’s one reason why translators in the Renaissance period didn’t include it as they were putting the Bible into the language of the people.
