🧁Ingredients
Dry
-3/4 Cup / 90G AP Flour
-1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
-1/8 Tsp Baking Soda
-1/8 Tsp Salt
-1 Tsp Cinnamon
-1/4 Tsp Nutmeg
Wet
-2 Tbsp Melted Unsalted Butter
-1/4 Cup / 50G Sugar
-1/4 Cup / 50G Brown Sugar
-1/2 Egg (25G)
-2 Tbsp Milk
-1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
-1/2 Cup / 115G Sourdough Starter
Optional Topping
-1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
Bake at 400F / 204C for 16-18 mins.

Wow! Amazing muffins. I could not find any nutmeg, so I substituted pumpkin pie spice. They turned out very very well! I think I'll be making these regularly.
Good job, smart thinking, there's nutmeg in pumpkin spice so the taste is really similar. Great to hear.
Just finished making them. I used 25g of sugar instead of 100g… added blueberry in some and chocolate chips in other. I should have used 50g of sugar instead. The consistency is good.

Nice, thanks for sharing. Look like a all-grain wheat sourdough. Do you use it at a certain "age" ?
A 1/4 cup fills 3 muffin slot this size.
Old Discard is ok to use or has to be fresh active starter?
Discard is preferred, like at least a day old active starter.
Why do you use baking powder in a sourdough recipe?
You need the baking powder to give it a quicker rise as this is a quickbread.
