- A short video sharing something I like about Toronto, Canada. I'm visiting from Montreal and have to admit that there are sides to this city which I had not explored before. Here's one of them.
#Toronto #Canada
Toronto is a very interesting city, a lot of trees too with its ravine system. Whenever landing into Toronto the vast tree canopy in summer is notable compared to other cities of other large North American cities.
Hope you got out of there before the storm hit. Crazy pictures of Don Valley and union station.
I made it out just the day before
You may have already but don't be afraid to venture further west from there. The area you show here is just scratching the surface of these kind of streets in the city. Little Italy (centred around College and Clinton) is worth the walk - the street narrows and has a great vibe. I would also highly encourage you to check out Queen West. And keep going west along Queen at least to Ossington which is also worth a look. A touch more upscale than Queen but still a serious good vibe around there.
agreed
Excellent video. There are so many different neighbourhoods outside the core to checkout on subsequent trips to the city, including Dundas West, Roncesvalle, Riverside, Leslieville, Greektown, Ossington, to name a few. I hope you come back soon.
Dan, I was in Winnipeg around 1992 as my first time flying. Then was in Toronto for 2016/17/18. Now I will be in Montreal next week. So excited, but concerned about how the flooding will affect the trip. One thing at a time.
I love Toronto
Uk and Canada have similarities like history and old buildings parliament the trams see you have covent garden in montreal...canada lovely place
I wrote a novel on this subject.
What's it called?
Next to Toronto in Mississauga there‘s a new development called the Exchange District and it sounds like they are copying Winnipeg! I am so glad that you had a pleasant experience in Toronto ☺️ The Toronto Islands and the streetcars are certainly unique.
Towards the end of your video (3:10) at the top of the intersection, the old red brick building is the Ontario legislature, Queen‘s Park. 😊
Moving back to Toronto?
