@@Mr.Jim8952, here. Treyarch, to me, makes the most fun CoD’s. Just so much to do and unlock. I think it has to do with what you,as an individual, want out of the game. IW, or Sledgehammer, may make the type of CoD’s that you prefer, while Treyarch appeals most to me. Zombies is what really tilts the scale for me towards Treyarch. I do prefer last years multiplayer over this years, but the omnimovement makes it a close race. Love being able to slide every way I want to get away from zombies. To each their own, I guess?
@mash2481 I did tried out treyarch cods from someone I know who still buys them. The games just aren't fun that I used to get with b01 and bo2. And I am glad I didn't waste any money on them. The modern warfare reboots are more enjoyable with the exception of mw2 2022. That one was terrible
I just took a 10 year break so what everyone crying and complaining about I don’t see it. Like og mw3 is dull compared to current mw3 . So bo6 is fun as hell for me. Coming from a long time cs player now
I've been watching you since the first black ops. I was a 7th grader then, now I'm in graduate school. Life is always changing and I love all the new, but I definitely miss the days when I'd watch one of your In Depth videos and build a class around it. I'll be with ya till the end drift
Drift0r is such a great speaker/motivator. He’s the only person who could motivate me from eating a banana ( if you know you know ) great to hear you’re doing better and on the right trajectory
I found your channel during the black ops 3 days and watched your in-depth videos religiously. Id say you helped me become better at CoD and I've enjoyed your content ever since. I'm so glad you're improving and in a better place now!
Everyone watch those in depth religiously. Him and ohoy had the best content. Ohoy did the history of the guns in his in depth . Both where top tier UA-camr who put quality into their videos
Drif0r Tmartn woody thunder are all the names that i grew up back in the good ole cod commentary days. Last cod i played was blacops2 and now playing blacops6 there is definitely heap of nostalgia. Glad youre doing well drift0r
Same...I fell off of Call of Duty for awhile after MW2019 even though this franchise had been apart of my life since I was legit 4 years old back in 2008 watching my dad play the campaign for COD 4 on our Wii. BO6 really feels like the first COD I've fully enjoyed playing since the days of BO3 which is my personal favorite COD game. I first found your channel when Black Ops 3 was in its prime since that was the first COD game I fully owned myself. I would do so much to go back to those days where I would come home on a friday during my freshman year of high school in 2016, blow off whatever homework I had to do that day, and hop on my Xbox One with the boys and play some BO3. BO6 is the first COD games since then that made me feel like I'm back in those times and it feels amazing to be back with this series again, BO6 isn't perfect but whenever I stop playing it I still get the urge to hop back in and keep playing, which is perfectly fine for me
@ I liked mw2019 but more so because of Warzone, the regular multiplayer I mainly just played shoot house because I wasn’t a fan of most of the other maps the game had
Woahh bro u look so healthy & happy! Glad u made it out of your illness. I really thought someday there will be no driftor videos out of the blue :( Ive watched u since mw3 & never stopped. Pls continue till we both sit in the retirement home :)
The videos will never end out of the blue. I literally have it in my will, that my death should be streamed on this channel. If such a thing can be controlled

Driftor you're a UA-cam Legend!! Used to watch you back in the day when COD was in the spotlight, and now im watching again with BO6. Defo coinciding with my return to/renewed interested in COD cause I took a big break, now getting back into games in general and really enjoying them now for what they are, rather than what was. All the best, keep pushing champ 💪
Man, I remember watching you during bo2 days. Remember the early days of you talking about your chronic illness, little did we knew that will be a long journey. I really like your philosophical videos with cod gameplay
This video warmed my heart. As a fellow "old" gamer I relate to a lot of the nostalgia feelings. I appreciate how open you are about your struggles and your journey. Thank you for all the memories. I look forward to more.
You were the first COD gamer I ever watched. I watched you, and Scump the most. Its insane seeing how far you've come. The good times may be gone but BO6 is really close for me. Best COD since BO3 for me
I was watching you during bo2 days and i was in high school i am now 2 year post graduate doctor and working on my step 1 USA exam which is next week The nostalgia is real with this one and i hope i can watch you soon from the US
Hey Drift0r, back in 2014 I won two local gaming cafe CoD Blops 2 tournaments (Alpha Shooters, AZ) thanks to your In-Depth series showing the MK48 having near zero range drop-off. It's funny now how Blops 6 has me watching your channel again and love seeing how you've changed & grown over the years just like me
I've been following your gun guides since 2012 and i can tell you have a very calming and enjoyable voice to listen to. Seeing you play and talk during BO6 gameplay is the type of vibe i like to dig after a long day at work.
My buddy introduced me to you back in 2013 and we got to meet you at PAX East that year. You're such a cool guy. I'm still watching you all these years later and I'm glad you're still around. I'm going to reflect on some of my old games today. Thanks Drift!
We’re all still that same kid that played cod back in the good ole days; we just got older and have more responsibilities now. Nothing wrong with having some good fun when you get a chance
I’m not sure why this one has landed so well with me. My heyday was Call of Duty 4. I enjoyed that and played that, the most. After that, I played most Call of Duty titles for a prestige, but never more than that. They never landed with me the way Cod4 did. Modern Warfare 2019 was the closest I came to rediscovering that love of Call of Duty, and I still only played that until second prestige. So when I heard about Black Ops Six, with its crazy movement and high learning curve… I had very little excitement for it. But for whatever reason, the clouds have opened, the planets are aligned… I’m loving it. Legitimately loving it. I haven’t enjoyed Call of Duty this much in over 15 years.
Even tho I absolutely hate black ops 6's mp and easily think its treyarchs worse mp iteration, it is really cool seeing a lot of OG's come back to the game. Ima stick with zombies this year, but im gonna consume the mp content on here on youtube,
Zombies deserves credit on its own this year too. They really outdid themselves. First time in years I’ve actually wanted to play zombies. Last time that happened was Bo3 and Bo2
You and S0ur man.. I watched you guys RELIGIOUSLY. I still watch S0ur play all those other games that he plays now.. Now we have you back to cod! Super excited to see what content you have in store.
I am 44 years old, I have been playing card since my late 20s, 28 to be, since 2008. To me, you are the OG CoD guy, even though I do enjoy every content you make, that’s why I keep coming back here, I love when you get back to CoD. Nostalgia keeps bringing me and my boys back to play every night, yes, it has changed, but somehow we learned to adapt.
So happy you’re making a comeback mate! Been watching on and off for what would be 11-13 years now. Keep em coming! These old school commentary videos are a blast from past!
Hi Driftor, glad to hear you're on the mend. I subscribed to your channel back in the Ghosts era. Just wanted to wish you luck rebuilding your health. I empathize as I'm a damaged 50yo construction worker rebuilding after being sidelined with back, shoulder, and elbow damage. I know it's hard at your advanced age lol but you can do it!
Tbh, MWIII had me hooked with the OG MW2 maps and kept me playing with the great updates and actually good new maps. At this point, give me the almost traditional BO remakes: Summit, Jungle, Firing Range and Jungle because these maps are so disappointing and bad, unlike anything Treyarch used to. Give me a Launch remake too. Just give me GOOD maps.
Hey Driftor, maybe you've never been the best at CoD but you made a lot of us better gamers over the years. I have learned so much from u back in the day, from bulletproof bananaleaves in MW2 (OG) to the silencer not working on the USP45 in CoD 4. For al that, Thank u Sir!
I know this is a cod video but, the discussion about having an avatar that’s a virtual extension of yourself to put out into the world and compete with peers made me realize that it’s the exact reason I love The Finals so much. They encapsulate this feeling so well over at Embark.
god, minute and a half in and hearing your positive mood about your condition had me thinking "Black Ops 6 In Depth Maybe ?!" but i know damn well thats overzealous, lol. very glad to hear you can put more time into gaming, though, Drift0r. fan from Ye Golden Age of Black Ops 2 In Depth.
It was weird, but my first few rounds I played with the B06 Beta, I absolutely hated it. Thought it was going to be the first COD I would not play. After I pushed through those first few matches, I started to really find myself enjoying it. It has a funny way of growing on you. The last few COD games, i could get on and play 3-5 matches and feel 'meh' and log off. BO6 I can sit and play for hours. Been a long time since a COD has sucked me in like that.
Yep! This is the first CoD in years that I can actually play multiplayer for a long time and enjoy it. I started back in MW3 and Bo2, loved the jet pack games, but around Bo4 CoD started to lose me. I still bought them, and I loved OG warzone, but it just didn’t feel “fun”. Bo6 scratches an itch that I missed, it’s genuinely fun to play, and I look forward to it.
@ she seems like a great person, and so do you. Would make a great team, she’s a pretty good sniper and you’re a pretty good AR/SMG player, so you should complement each others play style.

I'm 43 now, I also have moved to PC gaming, but I also still love it, and the nostalgia thing does hit hard. It kind of creeps up on you slowly, but this all sounds familiar.
I’ve been feeling that pull back to CoD too. Started playing in 2011 or so and played way too much CoD. Haven’t played in a long time, but currently struggling with the complete lack of time to play or money to buy the game. Loving the old school commentaries. Makes it feel like the old days.
I'd really love your guides and analysis on perks and weapons back tbh. Been diving back into CoD with Bo6 and I always liked your guides the best. Been watching them since BO2 days.
I have been subscribed ever since like 2011-2012 back in the old MW3 days back when I was in like 6th grade and now I have a degree and I'm working a full time job. Crazy how time flies.
Dude I agree, I stopped playing CoD during MW2019 because I thought it was a flat out terrible game and nothing like Call of Duty. I started playing Bo4 again earlier this year and had a lot of fun and rage too it felt like a good game, I think BO6 has tons of flaws and is a pretty bad game but that nostalgia and feeling of grind keeps bringing me back to playing the game even though it’s a chore to play and a lot of times flat out miserable 😭 it’s just something inside of me that wants to keep playing CoD even though I absolutely despise the super thick SBMM and horrid maps so I may end of quitting again or going back to older call of duties
Love this style of video, man! UA-cam told me yesterday I'm in our Top 0.4% of fans. Been watching since 2009/2010 at least! Keep up the good work, brother.
Black Ops 2 is one of my most played games, definitely one of my favorite games in general of all time. Back when it was big, I watched your videos probably nearly every day, and I haven't watched you since, sorry to say. I haven't played a CoD game since BO3, and I barely played that. I decided to give BO6 a try since I saw it was on game pass and was feeling nostalgiac of the BO2 days, and here you are doing the same. Funny how BO6 sucked all us old gamers in with nostalgia lol.
I was addicted to your Advanced Warfare In-Depth videos. For all the negative attention that game got, the variants were actually super interesting and a fresh take on gun mechanics
Oh man, giving me goosebumps! I started back in Bo2 and Ghosts. Good time, good times. I miss those years so much. 2011 to 2015 will always be legendary years for gaming, GTA 5, CoD, BF4! Oh my god, I can’t even type it all out I miss it so much haha.
I have had the want to play COD for the first time in a few years MW2019 was the last COD I spent any real time playing and I was in a horrible cycle of buying the new cod and a week later being done with it but now I’m having fun which is great since COD has been part of my life and my friend groups game cycle since COD2 the big red one
I would have never stopped playing if the lag comp and desync issues weren’t so bad. Prior games were literally unplayable. I remember playing BO CW league and I got insta-killed almost every single engagement. It was literally impossible. A complete waste of my money. I’ve been playing Xdefiant lately. The connectivity is so much better for me.
I’ve been watching your content since I was the original MW3 and two games that I highly recommend if you have some free time or ever want to stream something else are: Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium. Both are very different games than COD and very philosophical but are easily the two best games I’ve ever played and it’s not even close. I’m in school studying political philosophy and both these games are on par with the literary canon. Outer Wilds is as close to a perfect game that will probably ever be made and its game design is so unique and genius that it’s kind’ve ruined other games for me. Disco Elysium on the other hand has much more familiar CRPG gameplay but the writing, world building, and commentary on history, art, politics, philosophy, psychology etc… is second to none. I would love to hear your thoughts on either of these games if you get the chance to play them as they are truly once in a lifetime experiences.
Well, that's because, by definition, nostalgia is a happy, affectionate, or wistful past experience or memory. The negative aspect is just a 💩 memory. No one feels nostalgic about a 💩y day 😂
Same... Ive also noticed alot of fellow old ppl in my lobbies... For some reason this CoD struck a cord with 30 year olds lol
It was the art style for me, something about it and the movement/sounds…. It was like finally playing black ops 1 all over again

Been watching you since BlackOps2. Thanks for all you’ve done for the COD community Drift0r🙏🏾🔥
Appreciate you!
Same I quite for 6 years and I am back playing cod
"Only fools prefer the past!" -God Emperor Leto
I have had the want to play COD for the first time in a few years MW2019 was the last COD I spent any real time playing and I was in a horrible cycle of buying the new cod and a week later being done with it but now I’m having fun which is great since COD has been part of my life and my friend groups game cycle since COD2 the big red one
Didn’t know insurance covered those glasses. I should check it out before the year is over
Welcome back Drift0r. Also, I’ve been loving bo6. It still has bugs and issues but I feel like this one is a dub for treyarch
I'm personally unable to come to satisfaction with an identity of gaming competition.
However, it is an encouraging message to know that you could've.
Glad driftor is coming back to his roots.
One of my favorite videos you’ve ever made.
Does anyone else randomly throughout the day get a memory of an old cod map?
I would have never stopped playing if the lag comp and desync issues weren’t so bad. Prior games were literally unplayable. I remember playing BO CW league and I got insta-killed almost every single engagement. It was literally impossible. A complete waste of my money. I’ve been playing Xdefiant lately. The connectivity is so much better for me.
2:40 I couldn't agree with you more on that.
More of these old school commentaries please! Love this.
We love you drift0r keep it up stay happy and stay healthy
At around 10 mins you can hear the Blame! Influence
:)
I’ve been watching your content since I was the original MW3 and two games that I highly recommend if you have some free time or ever want to stream something else are:
Outer Wilds and Disco Elysium.
Weird how everyone focuses on positive nostalgic experiences, there can be negative nostalgic experiences aswell.
I do NOT miss COD Ghosts LOOOL
Well, that's because, by definition, nostalgia is a happy, affectionate, or wistful past experience or memory. The negative aspect is just a 💩 memory. No one feels nostalgic about a 💩y day 😂
I call negative nostalgia: trauma 😅💀
Nostalgia: a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations.
@@ApertureApex im a psycologist, and Thats correct af
Haters will see a diverse channel and say "He's not faithful to cod" 💀
Nostalgia hearing your intro 😅
Driftor, make just one In Depth video. The gun you like the most. Just for nostalgia
A kimbo pistols coming up
Driftor making in depth videos again
Christmas came early
@@sepultura7771 i came earlier with his response
I'm very happy for you Drift0r. Nostalgia is a grounding moment for this fast changing society. A symptom of postmodernism.
You need to make a video on why BO6 warzone season 1 is really bad and the future of warzone. You will get double the views of this video lol.
I subscribed because of your CoD content like 10 years ago
It took you long enough
@@Drift0r lol I've been subscribed the whole time! I typed that weird.
I feel ya man.
On the subject of nostalgia, I miss your overwatch streams.
I remember I wouldn’t try a gun until I saw your in depth to confirm it was worth it 😂
This game reminds me of BO2, thats why I game back to COD for this one
Hey Driftor can you do indepth videos like the one you used to do on BO2? These videos were amazing and we need them for BO6
really sad how all of this got taken away by sbmm
Positive and personal associations, ends up being shot in the back....
Driftyyyy!! I'd love to hear your opinion of the alien situation!
It's been 10 years since I first started watching your channel...
The next ten is going to be can be even wilder
@@Drift0r I genuinely hope you're doing well man.
9:47 *cough* *cough* Blame Truth 😂
Dude just does it for money it’s the only content that gets views for em
Blame Truth be like, "Black Ops 6 is the WORST F****** GAME EVER CREATED. F*** ACTIVISION. F*** THIS COMMUNITY. (Volume Warning)" lmaoooo
Entirely unrelated to the video but shoutout to Gabe Utzegs on the other team 2:26
same here. love it
Even the people who are paid to play this aren’t having fun.
