Well done Steelworkers! Glad to see some educational videos coming out from the Educational Department. How can I get each of these four videos for our Local? I'd love to have this material to supplement the training we're going to hold for our Stewards this May.
New teamster steward here. Can I use text messages to ask for information? Our contract states the company must provide us a 60x36 enclosed locking corkboard, but we only have a 12x24 open corkboard. I want the real corkboard for notices and such. Once we meet, I wanted to text him that we are entitled to it per the contract, like the cya method i used as a rank and filer. Do text messages count as legally binding for information gathering purposes should management refuse or delay?
