There's a restaurant in my area that doesn't have waiters or servers. By each table or stool there's a tablet that basically serves as your menu and you can order from it. Once your order is ready you get up and collect your order. Completely removed the "need" of servers
Dam, at my grocery store, you still have the cashiers scanning ur food, BUT THEY DONT BAG IT

Last job I worked was in 2005... Yes I'm aware I'm aging ya brats! But the wage was $5.14, so when i hear $11 it always hits me as though it were a lot, and I'm aware it isn't, it's inflation & it isn't even enough to live off! Still feels weird to hear. Like hearing ya grandpa talk about getting $0.25 and how much he could buy with it.
