That’s definitely accurate 1000% I played right field for most of my time playing baseball and I honestly wish I was playing center field instead!. I relate to this one!
Damn bro, as a catcher I can relate so hard. I’m tired of catching my knees hurt after every game. This is my last year catching I’m gonna go into the outfield.
He made a video on pretty much everything to do with baseball and then I guess he ran out of ideas and stopped posting for a long time. I do like these sketches tho they are something new for him to make content with
It’s cuz that was the only position where u were guaranteed to get the ball😂them right fielders could go 3 innings getting nothing and the center fielder gets everything
@@imyaboipancake5031 ouch😂I mainly play CF and 3B now, but I’m also the backup 1B and emergency catcher, so I should be safe from playing catcher, and since I play CF, I get to get the ball all the time, so I’m not tripping about it😂I’m cool playing catcher tho, but I recommend for if your knees hurt (I’m 14, played CF and 3B for tournament team) switch to a knee instead of a squat, really helps on the knees, but you gotta be quick and have good reactions

My grandmother used to tell me stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Infield Tribes, Right Field Kingdom, Left Field Nation and Center Field Nomads. Catcher is so incredibly accurate. As a little league catcher myself, I got hit in the balls with so many fastballs, my knees were wrecked, and I got shunned for not running and catching and doing anything. I hated it and that is why I don’t play baseball anymore.
Bro I was a full time catcher for 6 years and my knees use to click super loud but I got out of it cause my team need a short stop and on my new team one year later I’m a third baseman that plays every we’re except catcher so this is 100% true
I was always 3rd base because I had a arm but was too slow for outfield too much of a crybaby for pitching and couldn't be first much because I couldn't stretch or jump cuz I was fat and short.. I did hit 1 dinger in little league though
True story when Tommy Lasorda was furious with the Dodgers making errors "Pedro, what are you thinking about at 3rd base with the game on the line. "I am thinking two things coach, please don't hit theball to me." Lasorda "Ok what is the other thing you are thinking "OH God please don't let them hit the ball to Sax."
I'm a third baseman and it's so true what you said, if I said that I actually liked catching back when I first started I would still be catching today and boy would I hate it.
Bro I played CF and am literally the best contact hitter on the team, my BA started with a 6. The catch: I can’t throw far, I’m an average fielder, and made 2 diving catches last season. One was in PRACTICE. Fuck this bro😂
as a right fielder my thoughts are actually that "I hate being the home team because of the length to the dugout" and that "nothing comes over here so there's no point."
Lol i felt exactly like that when i used to play and was catcher besides not being able to hit i was the best hitter on a few of my teams and 2nd or 3rd best on the rest
I was a catcher/ utility player. I hit like shit was fast as shit tho. Great on defense. In HS I split time at catcher cuz the other catcher was a great hitter but couldn’t block for shit and was terrible at picking pitches. Couldn’t scoop or block worth a shit. I always batted in the 8/9 spot. Good enough to be in the daily lineup but not good enough to be permanent. In all of HS only 1 successfully stole on me. Threw from the crouch and had great throws so it worked. My HS batting average was 226. Two homers. The other positions I’d play was basically everything but shortstop. One the days the shortstop was pitching I’d either be catching or at second. He was a good two way player. Unfortunately he tore his rotator cuff right before college and needed surgery.
Holly fuck I'm that catcher. I was 11 on little League team when I said the exact words of "yeah sure I will do it" and was stuck doing catcher all the way till 14 years old and now I'm a center fielder and second baseman. Great video!
