I received this bible a month ago. My first impression was surprise. It's BIG!!! Won't be taking this to church. Definitely an "at home" or a specific study group bible. Can't just read it on your lap. I have it on a stand in front of me. But I'm loving it. I would have liked more than just one ribbon, and need to get book mark extras. Logically, one is studying different sections of the bible at the same time, so would have been nice. I'm overwhelmed so much extra study materials, charts, articles. More than I would ever likely get through. Good stuff! My eyes are starting to get weaker, as I get older, so I was very grateful for the large print, even though I need to adjust to overall size! I, also, recommend it.
One other difference between them is that the regular size ESV Study Bible is full colour while the Large print is not. The one map you showed in this was not full colour. But I've seen reviews of the Large Print that shows that it is full colour.
Great comparison video! It looks like a nice for study use. Could you do a video on how you use commentaries? What you like about them, etc? I don’t hear much about them anymore. I use ones I got from my Grandparents when I get stuck on a verse. Thanks!!
Thank you. And I’ve talked a little about commentaries Here ua-cam.com/video/iZ8S37dmSoU/v-deo.html And here ua-cam.com/video/0HLOl1e3lRc/v-deo.html But I like the idea of a specific how to. I’ll see if I can put one together. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Bought this bible, and it's an incredibly detailed study to have alongside other study bibles. My only regret is not also buying an ESV ultrathin bible to take with me to church or to the cottage, or when I travel. This ESV study bible is like hauling a giant boulder around with you.
I just got the Cowhide edge lined version and it had printing errors and had to be replaced 😂 I see now why Crossway is moving their premium production back to the Netherlands
@@ClaimingChristianity Evangelical Bible has excellent customer service. I hear Crossway has had to exchange a lot of their premium Bibles since going to China. It worked out better for Thomas Nelson for sure
It does look a little lighter in the pic but 1) I think it’s mostly the pic and 2) lol I’m color blind so “shades” don’t exist in my works. Hahaha. They’re inexpensive!! You should get one. Thanks for watching.
Denmark!!! Yes!!!! Thanks for telling me. We shall pray for Denmark!! We have a little danish town near by that we Ike to frequent. Called solvang in California.
I agree it can be distracting. And you can get bibles with thicker paper. Usually along the “premium” line which comes at a cost. But I have never seen a full Bible that had zero ghosting. Just due to the amount of words and pages. If they were regular book thickness paper….they’d be too big to carry. That being said…maybe what you’re looking for is a “reader” or a multi-volume reading set. Which I have a review or two of if your interested.

Enjoyed this comparison. I really like the single column better than the double column. Glad you showed the Large Print. Have a blessed day! 🌄
Glad it was helpful! Soli Deo Gloria

Great comments! Thanks!
Thanks for the comparison on both bibles.
Now I have to figure out which one fits my needs.
Great job!! 👍🏽
Thanks. I gotta remember to do that more. Glad it was helpful!!
If this were single column and full color, I'd get version.

Admittedly, sometime the nuances of color escape me. Thanks for pointing that out.
I wish the large print was center column reference. Then you have my attention.
Hmmn...thought this was Bible was pink from the thumbnail 🤣
😁 it does look pink. Lol. But what donO know. I’m color blind. Hahah

Yeah. It’s a big one. But there’s lots of large print info there
An ultrathin bible? That would be awesome with large print.

Yeah. I’ve heard of this happening. I’m glad they’re taking care of it for you

The one in the thumpnail for this video is more pink ? Is it not ? I have not come around that yet - But i would love if it was made in that color👏🏻☺️

Claiming Christianity Thank you.. Do not worry😁I love to follow along. Have a Nice day. Hi from Denmark.

I ordered mine yesterday 🎉
Nice!!
Hi, Does the hard cover stay open ? Thanks!
The hard cover does. I use it the most and don’t have a problem.
@@ClaimingChristianity Thank you for taking time to respond . !👍
No worries!! I’m here to serve. I do have a review on the hard cover if you’re interested and it would help. Thanks for watching!! Soli Deo Gloria
Dont they make any where you cant see right through the paper? That interferes with reading big time. I wouldnt get this.

No more standard print! I like the comfort print or large print bibles. This particular bible would be perfect for the serious Sunday School teacher.
It's a big one...not gonna lie. But you're right...great for a SS teacher!
I wish the LP had full color. I just realized today that the regular print had color :-(
As a color blind guy..lol..color never reallly was a make or break for me. But It’s nice when it’s real vibrant.
Good.
