How to use the MR Range Sensor for FTC Robotics

So I am part of First Tech Challenge, which is a robotics competition where you compete and have lots of fun. So in the off season, I have been building a robot which I wanted to use a Modern Robotics Range Sensor. I struggled to make it work but after a long time of playing with it, I got it to work. (If the tutorial does not work for you, I am planning on making a video soon on how to fix the main issue that I had with the sensor).
